In this episode of Keepin’ It Real, I tell a story exactly as it happened. I met a man on a dance floor who knew how to command attention. I watched him perform for the room, decided I wasn’t interested in competing for it, and then did something different. I asked directly for what I wanted.
What followed had nothing to do with romance or fantasy. It was about choice. Clear boundaries. Mutual desire without pretending it needed to become something else. I talk about exploring sexuality without a relationship, why that felt clean and honest for me, and how comfortable I was being fully expressed in my body without apology.
This episode also cuts straight into the issue I see over and over with women. Restricted movement. Hesitation. Fear of taking up space. I explain why partner dancing exposes these blocks immediately, how confidence actually shows up in the body, and why most women are far more capable of freedom and pleasure than they allow themselves to be.
I also introduce my Discover Your Groove workshop, a free 30-day practice for women who are done overthinking movement and ready to feel at home in their bodies.
This conversation is not about being sexy or desirable for anyone else. It is about being clear, embodied, and honest with yourself. When you trust your body and stop shrinking, everything changes.

Memorable Quotes:
“If you don't actually give yourself permission to, like, really take up space, and you sense that that is a huge signal that there is some block in your body and there's some fear.” – Misty Tripoli
“The way that I approach dance is that it's very practical. There's no choreography, there's no weird shit. There's nothing like that. It's just, what can we do in your body? Where can we work with where you're at right now, in your body, today? “ – Misty Tripoli
“But now I'm empowered sexually, like now I feel and I'm more comfortable in my body, and my sensuality, than I'd ever been in my whole life.” – Misty Tripoli
