  • Taking It One Day At A Time
    I have my good days and my bad days, just like any other I am no different from you. I preach positivity to myself and when I am starting to feel myself slipping i talk to those around me to remind me of who I am. Every day I learn something new, whether it is learning something new about myself or about my surroundings or past experiences or environment. I am acknowledging everything all at once piece by piece until its is clear to me. Tune in, your healing days will get easier just keep taking it one day at a time.

  • Thinking logically, while separating your emotions…
    It doesn't cost much to think things thoroughly when you need to solve things rather than being conflicted with your emotions. We all have our moments but, in the moment, yah gotta realize yourself enough to know when you need space to think. Hell, when you need space to breathe and calm down because it's not worth adding more fuel to the situations when you can prevent it by thinking twice. Lets learn from our mistakes and take time to think before you speak/act. Tune into the realness of learning from the outcome of situation and knowing what you could have done differently.

  • MLK statue in Boston 🏙️
    The Embrace is a bronze sculpture by Hank Willis Thomas, installed on Boston Common in Boston, Massachusetts, in memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in December 2022. Mr. Thomas was very bold to create a statue that does not show Dr. King's face, nor does it stand out identifying as Dr. King.  The Embrace statue was costly and is a huge monument of arms and hands holding each other. Mr. Thomas thought it was inspiring too remake the Dr. King and Coretta Scott-King's photo where it took place during a news conference following the announcement that he had been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.  I speak on how I feel and honestly, you'd have to tune in to hear my truth.

  • Let's Talk About Discipline (Children) 🫵🏽
    Children need healthy structures to help them understand their emotions and that not beating it out of them. Emotionally hurting and installing fear into your child isn't the best way to discipline your child all the time.  I get the love tap, but do you explain why you had to tap a little love into them? My parents talked to me after a love tap and not one time have, I ever felt confused about my consequences through discipline. Ask yourself do you suffer from anything that prevents you to have healthy relationships with people? Tune to hear the odds from a different perspective

  • Getting To the Root of The Issue 😵‍💫
    Look into your mirror, and ask yourself, "where did this all start?" Most times people will turn a blind eye to the real issue to their conflicts in life. As simple as sit your ass down and be alone with yourself! It's easier said than done.... but when will you acknowledge the truth? When will you understand how your actions are generational trauma being passed down to the next? what are you so angry? How could you have said that differently? Sitting with yourself isn't so bad and I know it! You know yourself best, no one know you better than you know yourself... Again, it's not so bad dealing with you but sometimes you have to put yourself first.

    Let's talk about it! We let our children go to school to be educated but there is more to this shit! We all must be held accountable, Parents first, Our City District school funding, and Social/Emotional programs Etc. For our students. Our Children/Young Adults experience a lot of social and society problems that get in the way of their learning, Fights, Drugs, Gangs, and Sex among other things Etc. The Educational system doesn't help our students manage on an emotional level to help those in need to feel comfortable learning, to learn in a safe environment. Ms.Clarks and I, are both employees of the education system but tune in to hear the difference between the two...

We are living in a controlled society, and you have to know somebody to get a leap up in the career you seek. In all fairness Danni Cham and I keep it real and talk about our experience graduating and pursuing our careers in a system we had little to no guidance. Not only are we Black, we are Black women, who have dreams like others but in a corrupted system, surrounded by Privilege, and Laws that don't protect minorities in the work field; sets us up for struggle, but we must build our strenghten and reclaim the success we deserve!
