There are few people I come across in this world, who’s heart really stops me in my tracks and gets me thinking about my own approach in practicing what I preach. Today’s guest is one of those people. A truly selfless man, focussed on Keeping the Culture Alive throughout indigenous Australia, because he understands why it is so important to ensure the stories are not lost, the teachings are understood and that our own connection with the land around us is not overshadowed by the relentless destruction of societies political and corporate search of profits and economic growth.
Despite his people being attacked, ridiculed and culturally destroyed for centuries by the very people that invaded their land, Dwayne Bannon Harrison, through love of this great land, is leading the charge, with arms wide open, to educate, assimilate and infiltrate, the very people who came here to populate.
Dwayne joins us so we can open our hearts and our minds to why it is essential to Keep the Culture Alive for the benefit of all cultures, all creatures that choose to inhabit this incredible sunburnt country.
