This week on Bad Boys Redemption we have a bit of a different show, an overflow of the Bad Boys Unleashed show. We spoke with Jimmy Kyle from Chasing Ghosts and the conversation was actually diving into some of the atrocities in Australia’s recent history as Jimmy recounted some of the massacres that were performed in the name of settlement. In fact what astounded Angie, Andrew and myself was the fact that we aren’t talking 1800’s we are talking even as recent as the last century. It seems that as three white people in school we were never taught the true history. So rather than having the whole conversation in our comedy show, we felt it deserved to be here, in the true crime category. So this is the whole interview which will make you rethink what you were taught at school.

Today I chat with Jacob Little, one of the co-founders of an organisation called About Time For Justice which helps victims of abuse find counselling and legal help.

A victim himself, Jacob was placed into prison and experienced the abuse at the hands of a guard in juvenile detention. 

Facing 25 years inside because of the VLAD laws - the Viscious Lawless Association Disestablishment Act, Jacob has since turned his life around and helps other victims of abuse.

To start the new year, we speak with a young guy who has spent just as much of his young adult life inside prison as he has outside the bars. Matt reached a point in his final stint inside that he didn't want to go back to prison and has taken steps to make the change.

We met Matt through Prison Support Australia and his story of wanted to make a change caught our attention. This young guy has the right mental attitude and determination to turn his life around.

6 months ago we were introduced to a guy from Norway called Arman Vestad who was well known in the media as The Norwegian Gun Runner. This was one serious guy, supplying guns and drugs to some of the big heavy hitters in the criminal circles in Norway. Arman was big time.

However this guy did a complete 180 and now he is putting together a program to help criminals enter back into the work force, not by hiding the truth, but by using it as a focus point…a bit like what we have done with our Bad Boys shows.
