If you are coming up a little short for reasons of thanksgiving, turn your attention to many of the psalms that give inspiration for the blessings we each have to be ever thankful for. There is no shortage of blessing and there should be no end for our thanks to God.

Maybe not the top 10, but certainly, 10 very important reasons to be thankful, besides the instruction to be thankful in ALL things, for every reason. There cannot be enough thanks offered for the promise and providence we have from God. We need to live a life of thankfulness to be in place of so much of the evil we may choose instead.

An important practice of the Christian is to always be thankful. This brings a piety of love and sincerity towards one another and telling them of your thankfulness. Thankfulness must be shown and told to others before it actually exists. Paul's life demonstrates this lesson in always telling others of his thankfulness of them.

The Bible records many stories of God's nature where He gives the opportunity to try again, a second chance, a do over, where one can repent, be forgiven, and allowed to be obedient to God's command once more. We have all done wrong, and God is willing that ALL will come to repentance.

We serve a risen Savior. There is a victory over sin and over death. We can be a part of that victory. There is power in that sacrifice and God is the source of that resurrection.

We are commanded to worship. We are told how to worship. And yes, we are commanded Who to worship. If you claim to have faith, you must be obedient to this, and to "worship Him in spirit, and in truth."
