This is one of my most talked about pieces of business advice that I get asked about constantly, and it makes sense why.
If someone in my company acts like a jerk to everyone they work with, here’s how I handle it:
I have already mentioned many of the benefits of adopting a positive attitude and the importance of developing it. However, a little repetition would make things even clearer.
“First, let’s fire all the managers” - “Think of the countless hours that team leaders, department heads, and vice presidents devote to supervising the work of others.”
Today, we believe that the problem in most organizations isn’t simply that management is inefficient, it’s that the role and purpose of a “manager” haven’t kept pace with what’s needed.
Enjoy and Be Great
These three resources are at your personal discretion to invest. They are the fuel that propels your daily production.
They're always available, constantly used, and can't be controlled by anyone else. But they require guidance. You have to direct them or they will direct you.
Every moment of every day, your attention, time, and energy are invested somehow. You decide what to focus on, how to use your time, and where to spend your energy.
How you deploy your A.T.E. is largely what determines the quality of your life, your work, and your skill development.
Ken what were the fist two things inside your Performance Playbook?
Well, the first Two principels that I put into my Playbook were,
They’re simple, practical, and they work. BUT THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE DON’T ACT ON THEM. The average person reads, engages in shallow thinking, minimal self-reflection, and asks, “What’s next?”
When you, as the leader, aren’t intentional about your attitude and behavior and how you respond, you get poor results. When you permit bad attitude and behavior by others, you get poor response and poor results. It doesn’t matter how good your strategic plan is or how talented the team is, if the attitude and behavior is poor you will not get maximum response and results.
How often in your career do you meet smart people that you find difficult to work with? Or someone who seems to have the right answers but all the wrong ways of saying them?

Mission Leadership
Every day we have to choose whether to be Discipline-driven or Default-driven.
Discipline-driven is when you are intentional, on-purpose, and skillful. This is where you want to be and it takes you where you want to go. It means to make conscious choices, for clear reasons why, to the best of your ability.

Mission Leadership
In today’s business society, there seems to be a number of leaders, teams, and coaches that are fixated on three things: Blaming, Complaining, and Excuses. However, most of the people that exhibit this behaviour hardly ever realize that they’re using it. The BCE Rule is a new rule that sets out to fix that behaviour in people and can be an amazing tool to create a positive, winning culture in your organization and business.
