Gems like this is one of the reasons why I make sure to seek advice from Rommel Ng. Not only has he been through a lot in his entrepreneurial journey, but he has gone through it with a generous and empathetic  attitude of helping others rise up. It was no surprise that the moment the quarantine hit, Rommel was one of the first to hit me up to spread some positivity and encouragement. It's been busy but we finally found time to have a longer chat about how this pandemic has changed things for good and how one can best equip himself and his organization for the new normal. No doubt, this has been the hardest and most challenging time for most of us. And really, there's no blueprint for how to properly navigate the difficulties arising at this time as this is so unprecedented. So what can we do? Personally, after going through the initial shock and stress (and denial) for the first few weeks, I've found myself looking at this time as a way to Rest and Reset - mentally, physically, spiritually. To each his/her own of course on how to best handle this time, but just wanted to share some of what's been working for me.

What's up guys? Hope you're all safe and in good health. It's a real tough and scary time now, more so for some others. Let's all pray for things to get better soon. If you need a distraction during the quarantine, here's the last episode I recorded about a week ago (although it does feel like much longer than that) with Marcelle Marcelino, better known as H.

I've been a fan of H-Audio's products for some time now and was very excited to see a local brand get into music and sound technology. But after hearing H's story, I was amazed at how he had a rough childhood in Houston but managed to turn things around when he moved here to the Philippines to reconnect with his Filipino roots. After a long and successful stint in the top radio stations here, he had great offers waiting for him in the music industry but chose to take the harder and uncertain path of starting a business creating audio products. That's the kind of story that's just inspiring to hear as a fellow entrepreneur!
