Our lives move in the direction of our thoughts. Your thoughts matter because your thoughts move you. They affect your emotions, actions and your future.
The problem comes in when we allow thoughts to enter and stay that take us in a direction we don’t want to be. If our thoughts move us, are they moving us in the right direction?

Pack your backpack, we’re heading to school for an intro course to the science of interpretation (Hermeneutics). Sound smart, don’t I? We will all learn the basic tools for correctly handling and interpreting Scripture by getting to the author’s original intent. The very basic process of walking through a passage with…
OBSERVATION - answering the Who, What, When, Where, How of a passage
INTERPRETATION - what did this teaching mean to the original audience in big times?
APPLICATION - how does this passage apply to me today?

We will walk through the OT with an overview of God’s story of redemption of mankind from the creation and fall of man in the book of Genesis. And conclude with the 400 years of silence after the book of Malachi and the wait for the promised Messiah in the New Testament.

  • Color Of Your Dishes - Take Off The Mask | with Chris Zarbaugh
Who knows the color of your dishes? Who has pulled up a chair and shared a meal on an ordinary day? Jesus didn't just tell people to meet him at the destination point. Instead, he walked with them, broke bread with them, and shared life with them. So, whether you are in a position to give or receive guidance, let's put away the dinner party china, and share what's real, ordinary, and authentic in our lives – even if it's chipped and mismatched.

  • Last One Picked - Matthew | with Andrew Kim
    #WeekendsAtKensington
Matthew was not liked – not liked at all. Tax collectors enriched themselves by praying on impoverished people, stifling trade and operating as what amounted to a local mafia. To make matters worse, they were despised for collaborating with the foreign power that had subjected their own people to bondage. Can you imagine what the other disciples thought when Jesus approached them and said, “Hey, this is Matthew. I’m sure you know him as the tax collector. He’s going to be joining us.” I’m sure there were some concerns. So, when it comes to God picking his team, does your past choices, lifestyle or even beliefs disqualify you? Or, is the grace of Christ powerful enough to transform those who turn to Jesus in faith and start to follow him?
