  • Heart Matters - My Heart | with Cody Wilson
Why does our mind (intellect) lose to our heart (experience) so often? How often has our knowledge about God been contradicted by our experience with God?
For many people, there is a strong separation between the two, and it has led to struggles and frustrations… What if it was never meant to be that way?
What if there is a way to fix this? In Peter's journey of following Jesus, we see evidence of a man whose heart and mind were at war with each other. Peter had incredible moments in which he stated beautiful nuggets of wisdom and insight, but yet his actions oftentimes contradicted his words.

  • Easter: Could It Be True? | with Danny Cox
Then everything changes! Every single person is breathless and awestruck: Jesus is alive again! This spectacular reversal is the best news anyone could ever hear. The people rejoice: He is alive! They join the celebration with hesitation, and can’t help wondering– just like us– “Could it be True?”

  • Good Friday: Could It Be Over? | with Chris Zarbaugh
In a sudden reversal, the people’s affection grows cold. Jesus, hailed as the Messiah just days before, is sentenced to death by the religious elite, the people themselves, and the Roman rulers. He endures agony beyond imagination and dies like a criminal on the cross. His followers don’t understand that his death is not the end. All they know is that Jesus is gone, along with hope, and they cry out — just like us –“Could it be Over?”

  • Palm Sunday - Could It Be Him? | with Chris Zarbaugh
Here’s the scene: Jesus enters the city of Jerusalem on the back of a donkey. He is hailed as the Savior, the King of the Jews, and people wave palm branches and lay down robes as a red carpet. There have been rumors that Jesus is the Messiah, but do they really believe it? They shout and cheer, all the while asking –just like us –“Could it be Him?”

  • Formed - Friends | with Steve Andrews
    Download the study guide: https://kensingtonchurch.page.link/formed-study-guide
We cannot do life alone – it’s a lie if you tell yourself otherwise. God has designed each one of us to do life in community (the people close to you and who surround you), we say around here “as family” and not any family but one that is on a mission. In order to complete the missions, you have in day to day life you need great friends around you. It could be said that “you are the sum of those who surround you”– that statement is referring to your friends around you more often than not and there’s a lot of truth in that statement.
Who’s surrounding you? Today we look at a beautiful friendship David had with Jonathan, a friendship that brought the best out of David! Friends like Joab and other amazing friends who help him in the darkest hours of his life, one in particular was with Jonathan who was Saul’s son and heir to the throne but he elevated his friendship to David above that reality.
The kind of friendship we will see today with David and Jonathan was one that made had sacrifices, had great joy and offered a loyalty that could be counted on no matter what the situation.

  • Formed - Faith | with Ann Wilson
    Download the study guide: https://kensingtonchurch.page.link/formed-study-guide
We get to see David intimately and close up in a pivotal moment of repentance and desire for his Faith to be restored in Psalm 51 which he authored. This Psalm comes from a place in David’s life where he lost his way, a string of bad decisions and some would say where he really lost his Faith. We ask the question to ourselves today too, have we ever lost our way? Have we ever lost our Faith? FIND A CAUSE that sets you on Fire, and you’ve Found a Cause that needs great Faith. SPARK of Desperation can Reignite a Great Fire! Find the Fuel Source to keep it Burning.

    Download the study guide: https://kensingtonchurch.page.link/formed-study-guide
God sees something inside of us that others cannot see – including those closest to us like out family. Truth is no family is perfect and all of us have been influenced and shaped by our families of origin, we have to learn to take what is good form them and leave behind what was bad so we can move ahead toward a future God is inviting us into.

  • Vertical Marriage - All In | with Dave & Ann Wilson
This week we are looking at the topic of physical intimacy through the lens of what scripture has to say about it in the Bible (Yes Physical intimacy is talked about in the Bible. Who knew? Did you?). It shouldn’t be a secret at all, or taboo, to acknowledge that physical intimacy is an integral part of any marriage.
