Beraccah Kisia
Beraccah Kisia is a Kenyan-born folk singer/songwriter. Her journey began with accompanying her mother's made-up chore songs as a waddling toddler and eventually led to her composing her first song by the age of nine.
Beraccah went on to study music at George Fox University; a stage upon whose transcendence she ventured into Music Education, offering private lessons as well as coaching numerous talents at the Kenya Conservatoire of Music and the Katangoma Music and Movement Arts Program.
She released her first album in 2012 under a pseudonym (August Cellars) and is known for performing at various venues in Nairobi and around Kenya including Industry Night, Thursday Night Live at Choices, The Women In Music Forum, The Sama Eden, Blankets, and Wine Festival, The Nairobi rock Showcase among many others.
Among her released works are The Mountain EP and Special Day, a single off her upcoming project "TheJourneyEP." Beraccah Kisia is inspired by country, rock, blues, and 80's pop music and looks up to Joan Armatrading and Sade as women of color who created the space for original healing music and alternative artists like Beraccah.

Ayub Oganda
The late Ayub Ogada was regarded as one of the greatest Kenyan artists of all time. He was born in 1956 in Mombassa as Job Seda, a descendant of the proud Luo people of western Kenya. At six, his parents took him to Chicago, where his father studied medicine. Ayub recalls meeting Muhammad Ali (then Cassius Clay), and experiencing the aftermath of American segregation, even as his parents toured college campuses performing Luo music at a time when the term 'world music' was unknown in commercial circles. Oliver Litondo
Oliver Litondo is Kenyan-born celebrated actor and broadcaster. He went to university in the United States. His career which started in broadcast journalism included as a correspondent with BBC and Deutsche Welle. He was also an anchorman for Voice of Kenya, Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC), and Kenya Television Network (KTN). Meanwhile, Oliver developed an interest in film acting and theater. One of the major movies in which Oliver acted was the Wilby Conspiracy released in 1974, starring Oscar winners Sydney Poitier and Michael Caine.
Previous to that he acted in a British movie, "The Search for the Nile in 1971. Oliver went on to co-produce with Alakie Mboya, a hit National Theater stage production, "The Muntu", by Joe de Graft, starring Oliver Litondo and Beldina Auma in 1976. In 1978 Oliver starred in the film "The Bush Trackers. In 1984 Oliver acted in "Sheena: Queen of the Jungle" Starring Tanya Roberts He also acted in "The Lion Of Africa" in 1988, starring Bryan Danahy, and "Ivory Hunters" in 1990 starring James Earl Jones and John Lithgo.
Oliver's latest movie released in 2010 is "The First Grader", directed by Justin Chadwick and starring Oliver Litondo and Naomie Harris. Oliver is very excited about the First Grader and says "more adults now go to school in Kenya since the movie was released, inspired by Maruge's (played by Oliver)courage to start first grade at age 84".
