In this episode, I’m reflecting on a video I came across that labeled therapy as “witchcraft” and why that narrative can be harmful.
As someone who has graduated therapy and experienced real transformation through it, I wanted to process what it feels like to hear healing practices reframed as something dark or ungodly. I talk about the tension some believers feel around therapy, where that fear comes from, and how I personally reconcile faith and mental health work.
This is not about debating anyone’s beliefs. It’s about sharing my lived experience. Therapy did not pull me away from Yahweh. It helped me untangle fear, people pleasing, unprocessed trauma, and emotional patterns that were already there. For me, healing and faith were not in opposition. They worked together.
If you have ever wrestled with the idea that seeking help might conflict with your spirituality, this conversation is for you.
Let’s talk about discernment, fear-based messaging, and what real healing actually looks like.
