Esther continues our series, Insights From Bible Characters, by using the story of Joseph in Genesis 37-41 to talk about the Dark Room Experience - how God use various events in order to mature us and prepare us to be able to fulfill the purpose that he has for us. She asks 2 questions:
- Do you know that you have a purpose?
- Are you willing to go through the Dark Room?

Esther continues our series, Insights From Bible Characters, by talking about the boy who gave his lunch in Mark 6:30-44 to enable Jesus to feed the 5000 men plus women & children. Esther asks 5 questions:
- Do you come and go, or do you stay?
- Are you connecting with Jesus regularly?
- Are you driven by compassion or duty?
- Do you feel that your offering is too small?
- Is your offering your security?

Our guest speaker this week was Catrina Benham who continues our series, Insights From Bible Characters, by looking at the story of Lydia's conversion in the book of Acts. As Paul spoke to the women by the river God opened a door of faith for her. Catrina encourages us to keep coming to the river and to continue to show hospitality to others.

Nehemiah was a man of God who knew the call of God on his life, which was underpinned by prayer, and Krystyna encouraged us to be a people of prayer.

Starting the new year, Esther has decided to continue our series, Insights From Bible Characters, for this term. She talks about Abraham and the journey that God called him to take to an unknown destination. She encourages us to listen to God & to follow Him on whatever journey that He is calling us to take.
