What do your nightmares sound like? Where would your horror movies be without a sound design or a pulse to pry open a story? How important is the score in your lore of storytelling? Sound Engineer and Designer, Chris Carbone, is not only a composer of macabre ballads but he also will explain the depth behind that one character that we tend to take for granted in every film that you enjoy. The Soundtrack. The Score. The morose tonality of terror. The sounds behind the veil of the screen are sometimes more important than the action being portrayed before you. Here we go... #chriscarbone #LisaFrank-enstien #cellardoorfilm #cellardoor2024 #Hemwick #ChrisCarboneHemwick #sleepinfear #thedevilswellfilm #thedevilswell #kettlewhistleradio #fairlydarkproductions #deadmemoriesdavidjfairhead #davidjfairhead #burningbulbpubplishing #doctorpeelorcomic #jesswearmusic

Norwegian Soft Kitten slashes out with vicious irreverence to conformity, challenging any alt-rock genre while encompassing the best facets of every rock genre. THEY ROCK. You may find yourself asking Alan Greene (drums, vocals, etc) and Glenn Berggoetz why they defy the norm and somehow come out with amazingly tantalizing releases that will make any music maestro shrug with confusion, while the headbanger nods approval and the progressive lyrical geniuses laugh with belly guffaws and ask themselves, "why didn't I think of that?" In their own words: Aimless two-piece rock and/or roll outfit. Glenn pitches ideas and Alan sighs disapprovingly (also vice versa). Sometimes we warm your body, and sometimes we melt just the face part of your body. Thank you for providing your body. #kettlewhistleradio #davidjfairhead #norwegiansoftkitten #NSKband #altrocknow #gushmusic #experimentalmusic #amazinglyrics #lyricalgenius #twopeicebands #aggressionlevelmedium #musicpodcasts

A musical phenomenon enveloped with an innovative original soundscape of darkwave, goth, industrial and alt rock would be the short story of the artist known as I Ya Toyah (Polish for "its just me"). Opening for the Cold/Orgy tour, this stoic woman owns the stage in her one woman show that borders on performance art, rather than only hearing some of the most personally provocative lyrics ever sung with such haunting beauty! And still, we are just getting started! Get to meet her right now in your ear-waves and smile with the knowledge that you just witnessed sonic pounding perfection with a tinge of emotional vulnerability. #davidjfairhead #iyatoyah #iyatoyahband #darkwavegoth #femaleempowerment #jesswearymusic #iamthefirealbum #altrock2024 #deadmemoriesbook #kettlewhistleradio #fairlydarkproductions #chrishall #walterflakus #stabbingwestward #distortionrecords #jimsemonik

See those hashtags? A snow day is not necessarily a SNOW DAY, by contemporary understanding. No, this takes us back to my dad, Donald Fairhead, former teacher, and what he acknowledged as a snow day when a blustery winter day prompted school closings, a warm fire in the fireplace and the smell of vinyl scraping a needle! That's right kids, snow or not, you called off of work, cracked some cold ones, sat in front of the fire and shuffled your old 45's! Join #Davidjfairhead and his father as they trip down the oldies road, spinning songs and stories. Welcome to Snow Day, Part 1. #kettlewhistleradio #60sclassics #vinylrecords #recorddayatkettlewhistleradio #oldiespodcast #fairlydarkproductions #deadmemoriesbook
