Alison Star Locke hits a Home Run with her first major genre/crossing suspense film, The Apology and she makes zero apologies on the disturbing content therein. Starring Anna Gunn, Janeane Garofalo and Linus Roache, Locke breaches many horror contracts with this Hitchcockian horror microcosmic drama. We will get in depth on the film's unique and beautiful twists on the "revenge" flick while peeling back the many layers that makes Alison Star Lock the professional writer/director that she is and what made her choose horror as her muse. A powerful female with precise intentions on where she wants to take the viewer; a roller coaster ride full of depraved emotion, void of mystery. Of course we talk about the wonderful actors/actresses that play it out, strong. And of course, we have music from #TheNewUp @thenewup and #AeonicImpulse @AeonicImpulse #AnnaGunn #JaneaneGarofalo @janeanegarofalo #LinusRoache @linus_roache_fans #hitchockianhorror #newhitchcockianhorror #AlisonStarLocke @alisonstarlocke www.theapology.official.film #kettlewhistleradio www.fairlydarkproductions.com #spotify

Join us for the most hilarious episode yet with the relentless wit of Annie Hardy; @anniehardy Musician, artist, actress, writer and star of the groundbreaking #RobSavage film #Dashcam @dashcamfilmuk on this episode of #kettlewhistleradio , featuring music off her new EP, Devil Inside the Albion Rooms. We play the Devil Inside (rockin' Dashcam version!) and more tunes from her deep catalog. You may have heard her before, without knowing it, on some very familiar compilations as well. Listen while she weaves some comic backstories and unsolicited (but very welcome) tales from her music and movie past. Mostly do not miss her ambitiously energetic film that surely was made for horror fans and written for her. #DASHCAM is available on Hulu right now. #AnnieHardy @bandcamp #Devilinsidethealbionrooms #directorRobSavage
