The third and final group games of the Carlow senior football championships will be played off this weekend. Holders, Palatine, need to win to avoid a relegation play-off. Rathvilly are already through and joint-manager, Kevin Byrne, would gladly take a place in the semi-final but feels his side could do with another game before the semi-finals.
It is all to play for with seven sides all in with a chance of making the last eight at least.
