    In this episode, I stayed up late one night reflecting on some EXCITING news I just received. I was told I was going to be tour managing for Riff Raff and Dizzy Wright's upcoming tour! The two tours are called the 'Lilac Lightning Tour' and the '10th year anniversary of Smokeout Conversations Tour'. These are MAJOR artists and I have NEVER tour managed before. I reflect on what my thoughts are at 2am as I sat up in my office looking into each artist and I explain what I mindset I am in, what this means for my career, and how grateful I am for the opportunity.

    In this solo episode, I discuss what artists need to focus on in 2022. Since the pandemic the music industry, like many others, has shifted drastically. Artists seem to be focusing on the wrong things as they are still caught up in a pre-pandemic world. Artists are like businesses, they have to adjust to their environment. This means focusing on your infrastructure as if you started from ground zero. Are all of your royalties being collected? Are you worth it to be managed by someone? Do you have merchandise to promote your brand? These questions need to be answered as an artist and I cover the basic steps you need to take in order to have a strong foundation as an artist.

I was alone in my hotel room exhausted from the previous tour and on the way to start the second tour. I was on tour for 7 days with Chris Webby, Dizzy Wright, and EKOH. Then I was home for a couple days and flew into Minneapolis to start another 10 day tour with Montana of 300. Needless to say, these were my 2am tired thoughts!
