If only it were as simple as 1+1=1. Let's face it, marriage is one of the most difficult things we do in life. Is it worth it, to me it is but that is just my opinion? I just wanted to briefly discuss my marriage and some of the difficulties that we face on this journey. I would love it if you would leave a message sharing some of the obstacles you have had and how you got through them on my anchor message. Don't need your name, just your story to air in an upcoming episode or maybe I will just add it to this one.
So, this is my last episode in the Self-Care series. It covers the topic of eating when we are stressed or depressed. Not the most informative episode I have released but I try to be honest. Always remember, Everything in Moderation.
Another important aspect of self-care is keeping our bodies moving. Let's face it, not only does it improve our overall health, but it takes our focus off of what is stressing us. On today's episode we look at ways to mentally and physically exercise our bodies.
This topic here is such an ugly creature. It's a lot like our demons in that it takes many different shapes and forms. Many times, what one person finds stressful, is not what another individual thinks. Each of us battle separately but face the same enemy. Today we look at what is stress, what are the symptoms of too much stress, and a couple little things we can do to reduce are stress levels.
Today we take a deeper look into the first topic of self-care. Sleep is often times the one area we tend to neglect the most. Sadly, it is the one thing that should be a priority in our lives due to just how much it influences our health. Join me as we look at what happens when we are asleep, the effects of not getting enough, and things we can do to get the correct amount.
What is something almost all of us can agree on? It's that the past two years have taken a toll on our physical and mental well-being. Today I decided to start season 2 of my podcast looking at how we can help change that in 2022. As we move forward, we will be taking a closer look at some of the topics of self-care. Let's make ourselves better this year! If you are willing to share a message on your struggles or ways you cope, please visit https://anchor.fm/jerry-coble and leave a message to be used in this series.
Tonight, I make the last podcast of 2021. We take a look back not only on a couple of things that occurred in my life but in the world. Who doesn't like looking back at one of the worst years ever, lol? I thank you all for joining me in my inaugural year of podcasting and look forward to what the new year will bring to us all.
We all learn about how our country was founded. Most of the time it highlights the good and understandably so. Unfortunately, it does not always tell the entire story and by no means am I telling you the entire story. Today's episode just hits on some information that I have found on the darker sides of our founding fathers or some dark events that happened to some of them. I highly encourage you to do your own investigating into some of them. It is only through the study of our past that we can build a better future.
I went bowling today and had a blast. It's such a fun and family friendly event and yet we seem to always forget about it. So, today I talk about my experience and then touch a little on the history of bowling in America.
Good and Evil are not always cut and dry. To many times, we assume we know enough information to make that judgment. The truth is we do not. Do you consider yourself a good person and if you do, how do you justify being good. Not every comment in this episode should be taken as my view. More so, they are presented to make us think.
