This audiobook is based on the short story "khajooran" which is written by one of the most famous punjabi writer Sukhjeet who has given immense contribution to the punjabi literature. 

'ਖਜੂਰਾਂ' is story which belongs to every generation who have felt the sorrows of punjab which is still drowning day  by day. Two friends of opposite ideologies have a shared goal which is to uproot the problem of drugs from their village.  

Their Identities are symbolic for the perspectives which have their own definitions of the problems and solutions for them. Though there are differences between them, but there is a sense of belongingness which binds them together with each other and ultimately brings them on single platform.  

The cover art of the audiobook was made by the artist Gurdish pannu and Dr. Ruminder has given voice to this punjabi short story.
