Phil Pierce, the Veterans Outreach Volunteer at the Jackson Hole Elks Lodge, came to talk about their organization. He explained their support of local veterans and the families of those who died in the line of duty. The Elks Lodge of Jackson Hole also hosts a bingo night every Wednesday at 7 PM benefiting a scholarship fund.

Author and Biologist Douglas Chadwick talked with us about his new book "Tracking Gobi Grizzlies: Surviving Beyond the Back of Beyond". He told us about his time spent researching Gobi Bear in Mongolia and the chance this endangered species may have to survive.

Dr. Jodi Hilty came by our studio to discuss her lecture tonight with the Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance, "Making the Case for Large Landscape Conservation." The talk will be tonight at the Old Wilson School House at 6 PM.
