And over the course of a few apple martinis, we discuss whether or not catchy tunes should shed light on dark subject matter, the “Paul is dead” conspiracy, and of course, Bee Movie.

In the premiere episode of Kiara Gets Drunk and Talks About Music, Kiara is joined by her friend (and fellow former emo-kid) Natalie, to down a couple gin and sonic’s while sharing their takes on the debut album from Fall Out Boy, From Under the Cork Tree (2005). In this episode we trade Hot Topic for FOB topics – from obnoxiously long song titles and sad jams to misunderstood lyrics and the tracks you skipped when your parents were in the room.
