I sat down with Christi Jernegan, and we went deep — like, portals-and-sacred-sites deep. We talked about the movie Illusion and how science is finally starting to catch up to what mystics have known forever. We explored spiritual places with energy so thick you can feel it. And then Christi told me a story about a grocery store worker in a festival outfit who sang his way through his shift — and what happened when she stopped judging him and just joined in.
About Christi Jernegan:Christi is a generational healing sherpa, intuition-development coach, and guide who supports divorced women ready to do the real work — so they can make clear decisions, feel safe in their own skin, and live from a grounded inner yes. She is the person you call when you're done surviving and ready to actually heal.
THIS EPISODE'S KICK IN THE TUSH MOMENT:
That person you've been quietly judging? They might be the most alive person in the room. Christi didn't just observe a joyful human — she let herself be changed by him. She sang. She talked. She walked away with something she didn't have before. We spend so much energy protecting ourselves from people who are just out here being unapologetically themselves. What if instead of side-eyeing them, you just... joined in? The magic is usually on the other side of the judgment.

Business coach and soul worker Shelby St. Claire joined me this episode, and we did not hold back. We talked about what's actually broken in the business coaching world — being pushed into systems that don't fit where you are, offers that promise one thing and deliver another, and why asking the right questions before you invest in anything is non-negotiable. And then Shelby shared a story involving her baby, a diaper, and absolutely perfect timing that somehow became the best business metaphor I've heard all year.
About Shelby St. Claire: Shelby is a business coach and soul worker who meets entrepreneurs where they actually are — not where a cookie-cutter system thinks they should be. She combines practical strategy with deep integrity and is the kind of coach who will tell you the truth even when it's inconvenient.
THIS EPISODE'S KICK IN THE TUSH MOMENT:
Not everything has a lesson. Not everything is a sign. Sometimes you're deep in your creative flow, doing the work, feeling aligned — and then life literally dumps on you out of nowhere. And the move is just to clean it up and keep going. We spend so much energy trying to find meaning in every mess. Sometimes the meaning is: stuff happens, it's not personal, handle it and move on. That's it. That's the whole thing.

Vitality Strategist Cynthia Terrell joined me for a conversation that every woman who has ever been told to just "eat less and exercise more" needs to hear. We talked about the stages of perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause that nobody wants to discuss out loud, why food is medicine, why movement is non-negotiable for your future self, and why your body is so much smarter than the diet industry wants you to believe. Plus Cynthia made a friend in a farmers market line, and I was reminded to trust myself. It was that kind of episode.
About Cynthia Terrell: Cynthia is a Vitality Strategist who guides accomplished, driven women to reclaim their body's innate wisdom and restore real energy and resilience. She works with women who are overcommitted, exhausted, and done being told that eating less and moving more is the answer — and she helps them feel strong, clear, and vital at any age. She's playing a long game, and she calls it the 120-year plan. We love that for her.
THIS EPISODE'S KICK IN THE TUSH MOMENT:
Your body knows exactly what to do. It always has. The problem isn't your body — it's that we've spent years overriding it, ignoring it, and outsourcing our trust to everyone except ourselves. Cynthia waited in a long farmers market line, struck up a conversation with a stranger as a self-proclaimed introvert, and walked away with a new friend. I was reminded that my body is not the enemy. Both of those things happened because someone got out of their own way. Where are you still overriding what you already know?

Season 2 is here, and I have things to say. We're kicking things off with a little housekeeping, a lot of gratitude, and something I genuinely did not expect to learn from an AI: that asking the right questions is one of the most underrated things you can do for your nervous system. Also, if you haven't grabbed the free gifts from our Season 1 guests yet, this is your nudge. Go support those humans.
THIS EPISODE'S KICK IN THE TUSH MOMENT:
Asking questions isn't a sign that you don't know enough; it's how you get the information that makes you feel like yourself again. When you're spinning in uncertainty, your nervous system is looking for solid ground. A good question gives you that. It moves you from overwhelmed to oriented. Whether you're asking Google, asking a friend, or asking an AI about archiving media links at midnight, curiosity is a nervous system tool. Use it.

If you've ever looked at a Virgo and felt inexplicably annoyed…first of all, same, and second of all, this episode is for you. I sat down with business astrologer Tara Schaefer to talk about how the stars aren't just a personality test, they're a business strategy. We got into signs, angles, the difference between your MC and your rising, and I may have aired some grievances about Virgos. No regrets.
About Tara Schaefer: Tara helps soulful women entrepreneurs build businesses that feel like home; bold, intuitive, and deeply aligned. Using astrology, holistic strategy, and her signature blend of soul and structure, she guides women to trust their inner wisdom, create offers that truly serve, and lead their businesses with joy and ease. She's the person you call when your spreadsheet isn't cutting it anymore.
THIS EPISODE'S KICK IN THE TUSH MOMENT:
You were born with a blueprint. Your MC, your rising, your angles; they're not just astrology trivia, they're clues about how you're wired to show up, lead, and build. Stop trying to run your business like everyone else's and start looking at what was written in your chart all along. The answers you've been googling might have been in your birth certificate all along.

If you're a high-performing woman who has her professional life completely dialed in and her personal life quietly falling apart, this episode is going to feel uncomfortably familiar. I sat down with energy therapist, psychotherapist, and EFT expert Anja Hertkorn to talk about the hidden blocks that keep successful women stuck in draining relationships. And then she tapped on me live because I was frustrated with my sister. No filter. All heart. You're welcome.
About Anja Hertkorn: Anja is an energy therapist, psychotherapist, EFT expert, and author with 26 years of experience helping high-achieving women build a private life as fulfilling as their professional one. She works with the deepest emotional patterns women carry; the ones that look fine on the outside and feel exhausting on the inside. She is the real deal.
THIS EPISODE'S KICK IN THE TUSH MOMENT:
High-performing women with masculine energy tendencies are often incredible at running boardrooms and terrible at asking for what they need in relationships. That gap isn't a character flaw; it's a pattern. And here's the part nobody talks about: when you're strategizing your relationship, running plays, or using hacks to get what you need from your partner — that's not feminine energy, that's a project plan. Real intimacy doesn't have a workaround. If you recognized yourself in this conversation, that recognition is the first step. The second step is doing something about it. Anja and I are both here for that second step.

My best friend Dafna joined me this episode, and I am so glad she did. She signed up for a blacksmithing class to make a letter opener. She did not make a letter opener. What she made - and what she learned about herself in the process - is the kind of story that starts funny and ends with something that'll stick with you. Also, animals. There are a lot of feelings about animals.
About Dafna: Terrie's best friend, a self-described animal lover who apparently also has an unexpected future in weaponry. She showed up to this conversation with zero filter and a whole lot of heart, which is exactly why she belongs on this show.
THIS EPISODE'S KICK IN THE TUSH MOMENT:
Sometimes the thing you think you need, a hobby, a distraction, a perfectly crafted letter opener, isn't actually the thing at all. Dafna went to blacksmithing class and discovered she needs animals the way animals need her. That's not a small thing. That's a calling. What are you chasing right now that might actually be pointing you toward something much more true about who you are?

A woman posted on Nextdoor about a terrifying moment when someone else's dog got off-leash and attacked hers, and then the owners turned around and blamed her for it. I read it, and I had thoughts. A lot of them. This episode is about accountability, the golden rule, and why karma isn't just a bumper sticker — it's physics.
THIS EPISODE'S KICK IN THE TUSH MOMENT:
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. That's it. That's the whole thing. It's not complicated — we just conveniently forget it when we're the ones holding the leash. The Universal Law of Cause and Effect doesn't care about your excuses. What you put out comes back. So before you deflect, gaslight, or point the finger somewhere else, ask yourself: would I want this done to me? If the answer is no, you already know what to do differently.

I tried to enter data into a Google Sheet. It wouldn't cooperate. I got mad. And then I got a little too introspective about what that said about me as a person. This episode is about the moment I realized I was blaming myself for something that was just... a glitchy spreadsheet. Sound familiar? Yeah. We need to talk.
THIS EPISODE'S KICK IN THE TUSH MOMENT:
Not everything is your fault. Not every obstacle is a sign. Not every frustrating situation is the universe telling you that you're doing it wrong. Sometimes Google Sheets is just being a little jerk. The next time you catch yourself spiraling into "what did I do wrong", stop and ask if this is actually about you at all. Spoiler: it probably isn't. And yes, anger is sometimes the completely appropriate response — especially when technology is gaslighting you.

You know that law of physics — a body in motion stays in motion, a body at rest stays at rest? Turns out Newton wasn't just talking about apples. He was talking about all of us. This episode is a real, honest look at where my own momentum had completely stalled out. Spoiler: it was the gym. What's yours?
THIS EPISODE'S KICK IN THE TUSH MOMENT:
Where in your life is the body at rest? Not judging it — just naming it. You can't build momentum on something you're pretending isn't stalled. Pick one thing. Just one. And take the smallest possible step toward it today. That's it. That's the whole assignment.
