Part Two, Adelaide Comets' Jayden LoBasso opens up about his journey after being diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome three games into the new season.

Through the support of his family and club, Jayden was able to defy the odds with a return to the game coming off the bench during the finals series. He describes how it all started, to the tough moments of recovery and the moment he felt his body no longer being attacked.

An inspiration to everyone around him, Jayden shares his story with gratitude for the people around him at home, at his club and all of those within the community.

Adelaide Comets' Jayden LoBasso shares his journey, coming from a tight-knit community in Port Pirie before eventually moving to Adelaide for football. The dedication from his parents played a huge part, with long drives to the city on multiple nights of the week.

Jayden's dedication sets him apart, he shares his memories from his boyhood club, to the big lessons learnt from his time at Adelaide United Youth. He also describes why he believes Adelaide Comets was the right more at the right time, just before things became tough and the club was there to support him through it.

Part Two, Scott Tunbridge reveals his experience during the Championship winning season at Newcastle Jets in the A-League, from how he was treated, his regrets and despite the tough year personally, he shares how he celebrated the win with his teammates.

No calls were made from Adelaide United for a call up, but a family situation made for an easy decision to return home playing for MetroStars in the NPL.

Alex talks about how a planned day out watching his brother play in the State League 1 Preliminary Final ended up with him on the pitch helping a former teammate and young Goalkeeper through a traumatic injury while paramedics made their way to the ground.

Also, life can be busy juggling football and a full time job, so taking time out for friends is very important. The introduction of COVID-19 restrictions on venues and pubs saw the birth of The Man Picnic, a group of football mates getting together in a park drinking beers, plus how a certain beer and video attracted the attention of Peter Crouch.

2022 Sergio Melta Medalist Alex Mullen opens up about his early footballing years being a part of a well known football family in South Australia. He shares the memories of playing with his cousins, including former Adelaide United defender Daniel Mullen and an incident with his brother, Matt which saw him sitting out from future games with a bruised coccyx.

Having his uncle as the coach of Adelaide United's Youth team didn't bring easy access for the teenager, after getting a trial with the club, it only lead to a tough conversation. Alex talks about how a move to Sydney FC under Graham Arnold became available, after his former coach Barney Smith called his own father, former coach at the Australian Institute of Sport.
