Cheryl welcomes Emilio Baetz to the podcast!

She kicks off by talking to Emilio about his studies within acting, and where to find his portfolio. She also gets his preference between TV and Film acting as opposed to Theater.

Cheryl Started Kids Party Characters with 2-3 actors doing parties on the weekends, and has grown to a much larger number of actors and weekly parties. Emilio was one of the first actors that Cheryl cast for Kids Party Characters when they initially expanded. He played a superhero at his first party, and tells Cheryl about his very first kids party experience.

He offers some words of wisdom for any actors who want to play this kind of role and make an impact on the lives of children. He also shares his thoughts on acting in New York, and what will help people succeed in that kind of environment.

Cheryl opens up the Kids Party Characters podcast to Pollyanna Hale on this episode! Pollyanna is all about living a healthy lifestyle during motherhood, and has a ton of experience and knowledge on the topic that she's happy to share!

Cheryl asks Pollyanna to share her relationship for healthy living, and asks what came first: Healthy living or Motherhood?

She explains that fitness is rarely perceived as fun, and even though there are tons of resources in place, they don't necessarily gel with a mother's schedule. She wanted to find a way to make the two work around one another in order to make it easier for parents to get and stay healthy.

Pollyanna says that there are two types of people: the ones can implement on their own and hold themselves accountable, and the ones who need a little guidance from an outside source. She describes how she helps both kinds of people get on track with their fitness and healthy living, without taking anything away from work or the family.

Cheryl welcomes published author and ghostwriter Carla Wynn Hall to the Kids Party Characters podcast! Carla was a big part of Cheryl's book: Escape the Darkness into the Enchanted. She wrote her first book in 2011 and self published in 2014.

Cheryl thanks Carla for helping her with her book, and getting the emotional story out of her in the first place. She also describes what her book is about, and asks Carla about any projects she's doing. Carla gives a shout out to a children's book she's helped with and describes the story off a shy fairy who finds her voice through the help of her friends.

Cheryl talks about a party she went to as Elmo, and the depth of gratitude and appreciation that came from both the parents, and how grateful she was to be wearing a giant Elmo head so no one could see her cry. Cheryl welcomes AJ Mihrzad he is the author of Mind Body Solution, an amazon best seller revolved around training your brain for lasting success with weight loss. He's the host of The Online Supercoach podcast, and the owner of onlinesupercoach.com. AJ has also been seen in places like Entrepreneur Magazine. He's highly influential, and a massive supporter of Kids Party Characters.

Cheryl met AJ at a point in her life when she was still using social media for selfies, and thought podcasts were for DJ's, she had no idea what kind of world awaited her on the other side of this world, and AJ helped her tap into the tools and superpowers she already had at her disposal in order to create more success. He was also a big part of the reason why Cheryl created the Kids Party Characters membership site! Cheryl asks AJ to share a little bit about how he manages to get people playing their best game, and AJ is more than happy to share!

AJ and Cheryl share a laugh about how he hosts seminars in his house! His first one was 25 women, and he's picked up momentum to host an audience of 40, from his living room! A lot of people aren't aware of this, but AJ taught health and physical education before launching his company into a universe of success. He was actually a teacher!

He and Cheryl talk about his niece, and how beautiful she is, as well as what character she would want at her own birthday. They then go on to talk about children, and how much they truly believe these things are real up to a certain age. Aj asks Cheryl how she stays up to date on all of the current trends and what children are interested in at any given moment. Scott tells Cheryl about his journey into podcasting. How long he's been at it, and what led him to want to do podcasting as a career. He and Cheryl describe their first impressions of podcasting, and what they thought initially, before learning about the business and marketing potential of it.

Cheryl asks Scott if this was the first youth based podcast he's worked on, and he let's her know that it's actually his second. His first was his former show, the Edge-ucation Podcast.

Scott tells Cheryl why he loves Kids Party Characters and why he wanted to be part of this project so badly. The joy it brings Children is incomparable, which makes it an awesome heart centered business to be part of. He also shares his only superhero birthday, and how it felt to have Batman show up to celebrate with him, and the interrogation he put the actor through to see if he was really Batman.

The two discuss Cheryl's podcast, her membership community and her services as well as her reasons for doing all of this stuff. She has a lot of love for what she does, and it permeates through her work and her want to help others build a kids party business of their own.

Adil Amarsi is a copywriter and podcast host with a taste for sales, writing and a good comic book.

Cheryl starts off by asking Adil how he got into copywriting. Adil tells his story, and explains that his slow, meticulous writing style was seen as a problem at school, but it developed into a knack for writing amazing copy. He deconstructs his journey from influences in his youth, to making $400 million dollars in sales collectively for his clients.

The two relate back and forth about language and Cheryl's trip to London, and the children's reactions to seeing Elsa in London.

Adil breaks down some of the psychology behind copywriting, and how to use emotion to send a message through your writing. He also recommends a few good books to help you dive a little deeper into the art of it. They also go into detail about the success of Deadpool, and how watching Disney can help your copy

Today's episode is about booking disasters in the children's party business. Cheryl shares a couple of horror stories from a friends who hired a character, and got far less than they expected!

Tammy originally meant to hire Elsa, from Frozen: The beautiful, elegant princess with a voice that could make birds jealous. What she got was a 16 year old in a summer dress wearing a cheap Rapunzel wig!

When she reached out tot he company to express her concerns, they replied with "Well Elsa is new and that's all we could come up with". Cheryl shares her own issues with how this was handles, and further explains that this business is not about the money. It's about the children first and foremost, and the children need to be happy with the character that shows up to their door, and that requires accurate costumes.

Another woman once ordered Spider-Man to show up to her son's 3rd birthday. Spider-Man was his idol, and his mom knew that it would be an amazing surprise if he arrived and celebrated with her son. When the knock on the door sounded, all of the kids ran to greet Spider-Man with sheer joy and excitement. What they ended up with was a 50 year old man with a beer gut, no mask and a painted face. Even though they're only 3, kids can truly tell the difference, and know when the character isn't real or what they expected. It's important to do your homework and make sure you're hiring the right people for the job.

Cheryl kicks off by asking DJ Dove about his time in the industry and where he's has the opportunity to DJ aside from the United States. He explains that he took a sabbatical for a year and a half to finish college and get his degree, but he's been back in action within the music industry. Over the years he's been all over Europe and the USA enjoying his job and loving life.

He tells Cheryl a bit about his show on FB: The DJ Dove Master Mix Sessions he does every Wednesday and how it's been the best thing he's implemented lately for the expansion of his brand. The two also chat about how they met (and Cheryl's race-car driver costume) and how DJ Dove was one of the few DJ's who kept moving forward and building himself up after Cheryl stopped managing DJ's.

He talks about his industry frustrations, and putting music on the back burner for a while while he completed his education. After he finished,it felt like a weight was lifted from his shoulders, and once it's done: no one can take it away from him, and with that no longer haunting him, he's free to continue pursuing music! He describes the difficulties he's faced in getting back into things after some time away, and that there's a new breed of music lovers ebery few years that he has to learn, adapt and appeal to, but it's been a lot of fun to get back to what he loves.

Cheryl also shares her journey from management into the Kids Party Characters business, and how it was difficult to find her calling after she got out, and her passion for children showed her the way into this world of opportunity.
