Its that time of the week where I get the kids out of bed to watch a Marvel TV Show cos I'm a big child.

We discuss the new Cap'n, some proper Bromance between Sam and Bucky, and some interesting plot points.  Yes we throw out a couple of theories, but this is an episode all about story and some history.

This film is a monster at just over four hours long, but we did it in one go, and it was worth it.

Due to the magnitude of this film we're approaching it slightly differently.  First a wee history lesson on how we ended up getting to the Snyder Cut, then we decided to discuss each character - the changes to their looks, story, additional scenes and interaction within the film. 

Some characters get more changes then others, so more time is spent on them, but we do not talk about the story, the epilogue, or any repercussions for the DC universe or the Snyder-verse.  We will be doing a special episode for that over at our Buy me a Coffee page.

This is our longest episode to day, so strap in and we hope you enjoy our take on what should have been the original Justice League.

We're back at it a whole 14 days after Wandavision finished without the epic cameo we all wanted/expected.  Have we learnt our lesson though?  NOOOO!!!!

So we sat our butts down at 9am to watch the first episode of F&WS, hottly tipped by youngest to be the greatest BROMANCE since Mavrick and Goose in Topgun, but did it deliver?  Does it need some speed?  Or is it my wingman?

After a month long break, we continue our Alphabet Challenge with a movie of my choosing.  There were other choices for the letter P (Prestige and Pitch Black made the short list), but then this sprang to mind and it was the obvious choice.

Not just a classic film, but ground breaking, taboo shattering, influential, the list goes on and one.  It is just an amazing piece of Cinema, but what would my modern teen daughters think of bullet bras, sketchy police men and the shower scene.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed talking about it with the girls.

At the end of our previous episode on Raya and the Last Dragon, the kids told me a few home truths about some Disney characters, their ages and their status within the Disney-verse.  They really wanted to talk about the Disney Princesses some more, and I encourage that, so here is Isla (Beanz) and Nieve (Beans) discussing and ranking all 12.

The second movie to be made available on Disney+ Premiere (for a price), and the third big Disney movie to come straight to the streaming service due to Covid, however it wouldn't be a Disney movie without some controversy, so we discuss the Dragon problem and the critical response to the cast (who are amazing).

Controversy aside, we look at the CGI, the cultural aspects, more importantly the Martial Arts and Disney's first proper fist fight (Princess John Wick?).  Then we talk Himbo's, the gayness of Top Gun (?!?!) and Dad gets PROPER SCHOOLED on the Disney Princess rules.

A week earlier then I expected - I thought for some reason there was 10 episodes instead of 9, so we do a pre-show podcast to discuss the series, and what we think will happen, then the post watch review.

If you had asked me, coming out of the cinema in 2004, what I thought of M Night Shyamalan's The Village, I would have told you it sucked.  The film I got was not the film I thought I was going to see, and yes, I was sucked in by the hype at the time.

However Nieve wanted to watch this, it's just turned up on Disney+ Star, and as my friend says "you should re-watch movies at different parts of your life so you can see how your experiences have changed them".  I made her watch the trailer and then we watched the movie - in my case, the first time since it came out 16 years.

What did Nieve think of the film I was mis-sold?  Would she get 'the twist' at the end?  Has it improved for me?
