Kill Streak

The ROTLD franchise comes to a close as Eric and Price offer their final thoughts on the series and, as promised, conclusively rank them in canonical order. Then stick around at the end to find out the next franchise the boys will be tackling...

This week features the final film in the ROTLD series and a fresh Romanian hell for all to enjoy. Eric and Price dissect this EDM themed zom-com (which curiously lacks much actual EDM) and ask the big questions, like "why don't any of these characters remember the events of the previous film, in which they starred?" Then the boys subject each other to a Chop Quiz, which like any good horror flick, quickly gets messy... 

After a 12 year layoff, the ROTLD series is BACK, BABY! Was the wait worth it for "Necropolis?" In a word, no! No it was not! Eric and Price follow the franchise as it makes a big move to Romania and abandons 90% of the series' mythology. On the plus side, there is 100% more motocross and buttrock. Then after the recap, the boys introduce their newest segment, engaging in a rousing round of "Colon Exam!"

Things take a turn for the darker in the third installment of the Return of the Living Dead series.  If you're feeling nostalgic for the halcyon days of the early 90's, when everything was all sunshine, lollipops, and body modification, then this is the flick for you! It's got everything you could ask for: S&M zombies, star-crossed lovers, and literal nine inch nails. Then to wrap things up, Price and Eric nominate their picks for the "Mt. Rushgore" of body horror directors.

Join Eric and Price as they tackle the misbegotten second film in the ROTLD franchise! There's a chintzy all-synth score, innumerable pointless changes of location, a moonwalking Thriller zombie, and a sassy southern talking zombie head that just won't quit. Why oh why won't it quit? Then the guys wrap things up with the first installment of "Staff Picks" where they put on their video store name tags and recommend some superior alternatives to rent. So fire it up and take a listen, and while you're at it, get that damn screwdriver OUT OF MY HEAD!
