Some of the candidates running in the Killarney Local Electoral Area for the June 7th local elections took part in today’s debate. They are the Greens’ Diarmaid Griffin, Fianna Fáil councillor Niall Kelleher, Caroline Kenneally of Sinn Féin, independent candidate William Leen, and Dermot McGuckin who’s also running as an independent. The other declared candidates so far are independent councillor Brendan Cronin, independent councillor Martin Grady, Fine Gael’s Dermot Healy, independent councillor Maura Healy-Rae, Cllr Marie Moloney of Labour, independent councillor Niall ‘Botty’ O’Callaghan, Cllr John O’Donoghue of Kerry Independent Alliance, and Damien Switzer of Sinn Féin
