This week, the boys crack a few open with Mr. Blake Bivona. They discuss topics including his 20+ year service to this great nation, hunting, life, and general debauchery. He did try to poison us with the interesting Czech concoction known as Slivovitz. Sniff it out.

Today we are joined by a previous guest and friend of the show, Jessie Adams. Jessie has been fooling waterfowl for over 20 years. From kicking ass in calling contest as a kid to fooling the smartest geese as an adult, Jessie is here to lay down some knowledge on the boys.  Today we talk about goose decoys and duck hunting fields. Legalities of hunting close to town as well as the ethics that come along with it and some conversations from online hunting groups.

With season finally over, we can take a break from all of the massive deer that are bigger than the one Ken shot and obviously bigger than the one Lane shot, because he doesn’t get a deer this year.  Lane is two weeks into being a dad, and the boys talk about how that affects the Hunting life. With deer season around the corner Lane and Ken drink down some Macallan and talk deer hunting, hunting ethics and things going on in the boys lives. Lane and Ken dive into some garbage Bird Dog Peach whiskey and talk about the recent updates to the case in Texas where the mother of a 7 year old boy tried to make him a girl, Ken shoots some questionable geese and our good buddy Cody Hannafious scared the shit out of everyone by taking a 3 day coma nap after dragging a big aaaass buck out of the woods. 

With coffee in one hand and whiskey in the other, the boys recap the previous episode with David Schuler and the reactions online to the information given in the show. Ken gets in a little Facebook discussion regarding social media’s role in today’s sportsmen, a 7 year old boys mother in Texas is granted full custody and rights to make him into a girl and a special shout out to our number one, Cody Hannafious. We sat down with David Schuler of Schuler Red Angus, the ranch at the heart of the Elk Depredation controversy happing on facebook pages all across the midwest.  David tells their "side of the story" with crop loss, time loss and losses to their herd of cattle, as well as voicing their concern for the elk herds in Nebraska.  As a hunter himself, David sympathizes with sportsmen on wanting to have a  healthy heard for elk hunting in our great state but at the same time has a livelihood of his own to look after.  We had a great conversation and we hope you enjoy.  Also shout out to Gander Inn in Lewellen for lending us their facility for the podcast!
