Babylon the Great is front and center. It seems that chapter 17 reveals Babylon the Great as a religious system that is opposition to God. There appears to be a connection between this system and the Antichrist, but it will one day be broken apart. In Revelation 17, we get a good picture of the beast/Antichrist. Come tackle a tough portion of Scripture on Sunday.

The Bowl Judgements have been awful, terrifying and devastating. But God is not finished yet. The worst is yet to come as He finishes His just wrath on the sinful earth. But the best is yet to come!

The end is near, and God's final judgement on the earth is about to commence. The earth He created, saying, "it is good," is now being torn apart and systematically destroyed. The response of those living on the earth is a refusal to repent and a direct cursing of God. The final days are going to be awful. What can we find that applies to our lives today? Find out Sunday.

As we study the Bible there are many people we get to learn from. Some of the most influential and discussed people are the twelve disciples. One that has always been intriguing and debated is Peter. He is bold, impulsive, outspoken at times, but truly loves the Lord with all his heart. This Sunday we will study Peter as he actively listened to Jesus when he stepped out of the boat and walked to his Savior.

Dramatic irony is used by writers hundreds of years before Jesus was born. Mark uses dramatic irony in his Gospel, telling the story of Jesus' execution. When we understand this, as the original readers would have, it gives us a new perspective on what has become known as the old, old story. It calls us to a renewed response and responsibility toward Jesus' ironic trial and crucifixion. However, it also calls for transformation in our daily perspective.

John sees more visions. These visions are relaying information which leads up to the final judgement of God on the earth and ultimately the Second Coming of Christ.

This section is one of many in Revelation which are challenging to understand. In this portion, we will observe two reapings from the earth. Are they both judgements? Is one of them the Rapture? Our study will provide us opportunity to take a little closer look at the Rapture.

After much troubling information about the end times (The Dragon, The Antichrist & The False Prophet), John's letter takes a victorious turn. And then three angels bring solemn messages to those living on earth. Ultimately, warning against taking the mark of the beast. The consequences are eternal.

Last Sunday we took a look at the Antichrist, one of two major players in the end times events. This morning, our focus will turn to the one called the "False Prophet." This beast will serve the Antichrist and will have great power. He will introduce what we call "the mark of the beast."

As the end of times draws close, Satan is going to be furiously active. A world leader is going to emerge who will appeal to the whole world and will, for a period of time, rule. First of all, peacefully, then with a strong and cruel fury. Who is this leader? The Beast or the Antichrist. Revelation 13 gives us information to this one.
