God has made Tessa an incredibly kind Jesus follower and today she share stories of kindness!  First Tessa shares about giving up her hotel room to a needy stranger after a long day of travel.  She thought:  “Lord it really can’t be you asking me to do this?” It was.  And she did it. 

 

Then she shares what her act of kindness cost her—getting lost in Chicago!  Next when Tessa was ready to give up a friendship that had gone completely off the tracks, God asked her to do something really difficult:  “Ask your friend how you can bless her?’”  The simple but hard question restored their friendship. 

 

Next, Tessa was reading about a missionary who hugged children with lice, and prayed, even though being repulsed by lice:  “Lord give me more love than fear of lice.”  Twenty minutes later, her niece walked through the door with you guessed it:  lice!  Her first response was to draw back in fear, but then the power of kindness took over. 

 

Then, Tessa shares how many acts of kindness in one day to an outcast woman, by a man named Boaz, changed history!  Next Tessa shares that it’s on us as God’s people to be kind in this cruel moment in the American story.  It’s our time to shine! 

 

And finally Tessa shares about the kindness she saw in the eyes of Jesus in a dream she had of him that led to her deciding to follow Jesus.  It’s a great place to land because Jesus is the source of kindness who pours it into us so we can pour it out!
