In this message we learn that true spiritual transformation requires anchoring your personal experiences in the bold doctrine of Scripture to ensure your life is built on truth rather than fleeting emotions. By testing every feeling and desire against the Word of God, you move from being a curious observer to a Spirit-filled messenger who walks in complete, courageous obedience.

In this message, we explore how true spiritual boldness transforms you when you fully surrender your prideful expectations and realize God’s calling relies on His glory rather than your perfection. By shifting from an entitled consumer to a trusting child of God, you are freed from the pressure of 'making sense' and empowered to walk in radical, courageous faith even before you see the outcome.

Acts 1:12-25 ESV

Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey away. And when they had entered, they went up to the upper room, where they were staying, Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot and Judas the son of James. All these with one accord were devoting themselves to prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers. In those days Peter stood up among the brothers (the company of persons was in all about 120) and said“Brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke beforehand by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus. For he was numbered among us and was allotted his share in this ministry.”(Now this man acquired a field with the reward of his wickedness, and falling headlong he burst open in the middle and all his bowels gushed out.And it became known to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the field was called in their own language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood.)“ For it is written in the Book of Psalms, “‘May his camp become desolate, and let there be no one to dwell in it’; and “‘Let another take his office.’ So one of the men who have accompanied us during all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us beginning from the baptism of John until the day when he was taken up from us—one of these men must become with us a witness to his resurrection.” And they put forward two, Joseph called Barsabbas, who was also called Justus, and Matthias. And they prayed and said, “You, Lord, who know the hearts of all, show which one of these two you have chosen to take the place in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas turned aside to go to his own place.”

Being a witness for Jesus is not a special calling for a few, but a command for every follower of Christ. If you follow Jesus, you are sent.

“You will be my witnesses…” (Acts 1:8)

 It is Spirit-empowered obedience.

You don’t need more courage you need the power of the Holy Spirit.

4. The mission is global and urgent

Jesus left the church with one task:

Make disciples of all nations (panta ta ethne)

The ekklesia is not spectators it’s an assembly sent on mission.
Church is not where the mission ends; it’s where it begins.

6. Fear, bad theology, and sin silence our witness

Christians often don’t witness because of:

• Wrong beliefs about church and calling
• Lack of confidence in the gospel
• Living in bondage instead of freedom
• Comfort-driven church culture

None of these are solved by trying harder only by surrender and obedience.

7. Presence and proclamation must go together

• Presence without proclamation is confusing
• Proclamation without presence is unbelievable

People need to see the gospel and hear the gospel.

8. Eternity is at stake

What we do with our time, influence, and opportunities matters eternally.
Jesus is coming back and He will ask what we did with what He entrusted to us.

9. The gospel is worth the cost

Losing comfort, approval, or convenience is nothing compared to gaining what cannot be lost.

“He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.”

10. The harvest is ready—the question is obedience

The problem isn’t a lack of harvest.
 The problem is a lack of laborers willing to step out in boldness.
