In a "Post-Truth" world where all opinions, ideas, and truths are supposedly valid, Doctors and Private Schools continue to blur the lines between boys and girls. Not only that, but some people in our world are now starting to identify as "non-human". What does this all mean? What should we as Christian parents, pastors and educators do when faced with the insanity of this world?

There is no confusion of gender or humanity when God is involved. We must believe that each and every person has been created in God's image.

There is only one way to really know truth: We must know God, and know God's word. Being born again grants us the ability to know the Lord personally, and once we are born again, we must renew our mind daily. Unfortunately, many Christians do not go through an intentional effort of renewing their minds.

God wants parents to give their children a biblical education so they will grow up to know God and glorify Him in everything they say and do. Most parents, however, can have vague hopes and dreams for their children, but haven't set out an intentional plan to make sure this becomes a reality. In fact, many times their investments in time and money does not represent that goal. "Successful and happy" represent many of the goals parents say when asked. 

What will happen with these goals when our children's lives come to an end?

In the past, we have talked about how parents are primarily responsible for giving their children a Biblical education, where they can think and act from a Biblical worldview. Parents have a lot of instruction on how to lead their children, so how should we prioritize a Biblically oriented education for our kids? We can look to the book of Deuteronomy, written right before Israel reached the Promised Land for an astute answer.

Today, the traditional nuclear family unit is under unprecedented attack.  As the church stood by, decade after decade, the definition and function of family were redefined and generations of children lost their innocence, their authority, their understanding of love, their hope, the meaning of truth, their faith, and their identity.

What can we do to restore hope for children and the family? How can we build up strong families?  There has never been a more pressing time in history to answer these questions correctly and in the light of God's word.

Jeremiah called is out plainly:  "Be appalled at this, you heavens, and shudder with great horror, declares the Lord.  My people have committed two sins:  They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.  Is Israel a servant, a slave by birth?  Why then has he become plunder? Lions have roared; they have growled at him.  They have laid waste his land; his towns are burned and deserted."

Are we committing the same two evils Israel committed in Jeremiah 2?  What are these two evils? How can we have a truly Biblical education if we continue to drink from the sources of secular education?
