I recently found out that East Arcadia Elementary School has closed, and honestly it’s really sad to think about what this means for the community. Schools are more than just buildings where children go to learn. In small towns especially, they are part of the heart of the community. When a school closes, it doesn’t just affect the students. It affects everyone. One of the biggest concerns people have been talking about is employment. When a school shuts down, that means teachers, cafeteria workers, custodians, office staff, and other employees suddenly have uncertainty about their jobs. Many of these people have worked there for years and depend on those jobs to support their families. Losing a school means losing a source of stable employment for the area. Then there are the bus drivers.

A lot of people don’t think about them right away, but bus drivers are a big part of the school system. Many of them rely on those routes as their main income or as supplemental work. If there are no students to transport, what happens to those drivers? Do they get reassigned somewhere else, or do they lose their positions entirely? These are real concerns for people who have built their lives around these roles.  Another thing people are discussing is the reason the school closed in the first place. From what many are saying, there simply are not enough students left in the community to keep the school running.

That raises an even bigger question about the future of the area. If the population is shrinking and there are fewer families with children, what does that mean for the town in the long run?  It’s difficult not to think about the aging population in the community as well. Many residents have lived there for decades, but if younger families aren’t moving in and children aren’t being born or staying in the area, sustaining local institutions becomes harder and harder. Schools close, businesses struggle, and eventually the entire community feels the impact.

  For longtime residents, this can feel like watching a piece of the town’s identity slowly disappear. Schools often host events, sports, and gatherings that bring people together. Without that central place, communities can start to feel a little more disconnected. What makes this situation even harder is knowing that many people in the community care deeply about the town and want to see it thrive.

But when population numbers decline and resources become limited, tough decisions get made that affect everyone.  It’s just heartbreaking to think about what this closure means for the future of East Arcadia. A school closing is never just about education. It’s about jobs, families, and the future of the community itself. I have to say something about WWE 2K26 because a lot of gamers right now are seriously frustrated. When this game was announced, people were excited. Wrestling fans have been waiting for the next big step in the series, hoping it would improve even more from the previous games. But now that players are actually getting their hands on it, many feel like something just isn’t right.

  The biggest complaints people keep bringing up are the bugs and glitches. Nothing ruins a match faster than the game freezing, characters acting strange, or the match mechanics suddenly breaking in the middle of gameplay. Gamers today expect smoother gameplay, especially from a franchise that has been around for years. When players spend their money on a new release, they expect the game to actually work the way it’s supposed to.

  Another issue players are talking about is how some of the gameplay mechanics feel different. Some fans say the controls feel off or slower compared to previous games. When you’ve played a series for years, you get used to how it feels, so when things suddenly change in ways that make matches less smooth or less exciting, it becomes noticeable very quickly.

Babel Voice Job Warning: You’re Graded on Talking Time But Some People Never Let You Speak

I want to share my honest experience working with Babel Voice for anyone who is thinking about joining the platform. I’m not saying the platform is bad, because in many ways it actually has some really good things about it. For example, it can be a great way to make some quick money by having short 15-minute conversations. If you need something simple and flexible, it can definitely help with that. However, there is one major issue that I keep running into, and it’s something that really makes the job difficult most days. The biggest problem is that you often cannot get a word in when you are working with certain people.
The job requires you to have a conversation with another person, and that sounds simple enough. The goal is to have a natural discussion back and forth. But sometimes the person you are paired with will literally talk the entire time without giving you any space to speak. They just keep going and going, and you are sitting there trying to jump in but never get the chance.
This becomes a serious problem because of the way the platform grades you. Babel Voice uses a rubric to score the conversations. According to that rubric, the conversation is supposed to be balanced. That means both people should be speaking roughly the same amount of time. If one person talks way more than the other, it can affect your score and hurt your performance. The problem is that you cannot control the other person.

One of the most important things we can understand as people of faith is that when we ask God for wisdom, it should not be because of the benefits that might come with it. Too often, people pray for wisdom hoping that it will lead them to wealth, success, influence, or recognition. But the real purpose of wisdom is much deeper than that. Wisdom is meant to guide our hearts, shape our choices, and allow God to use us for His purpose.

When we look at the story of King Solomon in the Bible, we see a powerful example of this truth. Solomon is known as one of the wisest men who ever lived. When God appeared to him and asked what he desired, Solomon did not ask for riches, power, or long life. Instead, he asked for wisdom so that he could lead God’s people with understanding and fairness.
Because Solomon’s request pleased God, God gave him wisdom beyond measure. But that was not all. God also blessed him with wealth, honor, and influence unlike any king before him. Solomon became incredibly prosperous. His kingdom flourished, his reputation spread across nations, and people traveled from far away just to hear the wisdom that God had given him.

Recently during prayer and reflection, something powerful came to my spirit that I felt God made very clear: when you ask Him to remove your enemies, you cannot be surprised when chaos begins to happen around you. Many of us pray for protection, justice, and for the people who mean us harm to be removed from our lives. But sometimes we forget that when God answers those prayers, the process is not always peaceful or comfortable.

God spoke to my heart and reminded me of something important: we are not running with weakness anymore—we are running with horses now. That message immediately reminded me of the scripture in Jeremiah that says if running with men has tired you, how will you run with horses? In other words, the challenges we face are often preparing us for something greater. Trials are not always a sign that something is wrong; sometimes they are proof that God is strengthening us for the path ahead.

When you walk with Christ, life does not suddenly become free of problems. In fact, Jesus made it clear that the opposite can sometimes happen. Following Him means standing in truth, and truth often brings opposition. People who once supported you may begin to turn against you. Situations that once seemed calm can suddenly become chaotic. But that does not mean God has abandoned you. Often it means He is moving things that were never meant to stay in your life.

Too many of us are worried about what other people are doing and wanting people to see us, and really at the end of the day, it's about God being seen, not about us. When we decide to walk with Christ, it's not about who we are, it's about who God is. And that’s something a lot of people miss. A lot of times we're too busy trying to show off and be the one and being the first and not seeing that it's bigger than that. You see it everywhere. People want to be seen. People want recognition.

 People want to make sure everybody knows what they’re doing, where they’re going, and how “holy” they are. But the truth is, when you're really walking with God, the focus isn’t supposed to be on you at all. The focus should be on Him. You go to church for why? Go to church if you just want people to see what you got on and you want to make a scene and you want to act like you're holier than thou, but raise hell all week long. What is the purpose of that?

That’s something we need to really ask ourselves. Because church is not a fashion show. It’s not a stage for people to perform. It’s not a place where you go so people can see you and think you're better than them. And yet a lot of people treat it like that. They walk in looking the part, talking the part, acting the part on Sunday… but the rest of the week their life shows something completely different.

Man, this one hit hard. Marshawn Kneeland, only 24, gone way too soon. Dallas Cowboys defensive end, full of life, full of potential now another reminder that success doesn’t mean peace inside.
Wednesday night, November 5th, he got into police pursuit near Frisco, Texas. Reports say state troopers tried stopping his vehicle, car later found wrecked and empty. Officers searched the area and early Thursday morning, November 6th, found him dead from self-inflicted gunshot wound.

This has been going on for a while, and honestly, it’s tearing me apart inside. We’ve been together for some time, and I’ll admit, I made a mistake we slept together outside of marriage, and she got pregnant. I know from a Christian point of view that it wasn’t the right path, but I’ve accepted my responsibility as a man. I love my son deeply, and I’m doing everything I can to be in his life.
The issue is, she uses my love for my son as control. If I say something she doesn’t like, she flips it and says I’ll never see him again. She even throws around the word “child support” like it’s a punishment as if she’s threatening to drain me financially even though I already provide for my child without being forced to. I don’t understand why doing the right thing as a father has to come with so much emotional abuse.

Let’s get one thing straight: God created this earth. Every piece of land, every ocean, every tree, every cloud in the sky — all of it. The Bible opens with that very truth: “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” So if He made it, that means it’s sacred. It’s not ours to ruin, ignore, or pollute just because we think it doesn’t matter. And yet, that’s exactly what’s happening. I’m not here to throw shade (okay, maybe a little 😅), but I get so frustrated when people — especially those in power — act like climate change is some kind of political argument or overblown theory. No. This is about responsibility. If God handed you something beautiful and said, “Take care of it,” wouldn’t you do your best to keep it clean, thriving, and alive? Because that’s literally what He told us to do.

You ever just walk down the street or go inside a store and hear a young mom or dad cursing out their child like they’re arguing with another grown person? I mean, it breaks my heart every single time. 😔 You’ll hear, “Sit your bleep down!” or “What’s wrong with you?” — and this is being yelled at a child who’s barely old enough to tie their shoes. It’s sad because we’ve gotten so desensitized to it. People just keep walking, pretending not to hear it, like this kind of behavior is normal parenting now.
