Philippians 4:13 and John 15:5 form the foundation of the life of a follower of Jesus, but too often, we don’t believe them, don’t understand them or simply don’t put them into practice. Our salvation is entirely and completely dependent upon the power of Christ and His sacrifice for us, and there is no sinner too far gone for the power of Christ’s love to pull them back and no sin too difficult and too dirty for the blood of Jesus to wash it clean. What do we do now after we’ve surrendered our lives to Jesus? It is now the will of God for us to become like Jesus and continue His work. How do we do that? In our own flesh, we are no more righteous than we were before we got saved. In our own power, we are no more able to keep the rules than before we got saved. How in the world can He expect us to be like Jesus? By continuing to walk in The Power of I Can’t.

Church should be more than a weekly pep talk. It should instigate and inspire change in your life. The early church operated under the influence of the Holy Spirit. There was word and power. The presence of both helps people to believe. What has happened? Where is the power? Where is the glory? We need congregations willing to intercede and cry out for the power and glory of God. Restore the Glory!

One of greatest miracles of Christ was His healing of the deaf and mute. This is a prophetic view because many in today’s church are deaf and have an impediment in speech. We have loss our ability to hear the voice of God and speak His word plainly. Well Jesus is about to fix all that and ignite a fresh fire in the hearts of His people. Get ready! It's time to be opened.
