hear that verse and get stuck on the phrase “I can,” but those are not the two most important words in the verse. Instead, the most important words are “through Christ.” If we overlook those two words, we’re left to accomplish everything in our own power, but our human ability can only take us so far. The things of eternity cannot be accomplished by human effort. If we want to become like Jesus and truly connect with Him, we must rely on His ability and humbly rest in the power of “I can’t.”

Planting the seed of the word of God is leaving a legacy. It is a gift to the world. We don't know who we will reach and what that seed will grow into. Living the word of God also produces a legacy. When we praise and worship God amidst our difficulties, deliverance comes to us and to those around us.

In these last days we are called to be Christ's representatives in the earth. We should reflect the character and nature of our King in all that we do. The world has seen enough fakes to last a life time. Now they must witness the true church of Christ standing up in boldness. In order for this to be accomplished, we must give in to the Spirit of God. Only He can bring forth Christ in us.
