The Israelites made the sore mistakes of continuously complaining and murmuring against the God who delivered them after 400 years of whining about the Egyptians . They demanded flesh and He gave it but their failure to heed instructions (gluttony) caused their death. They even got Moses in trouble Numbers 14:22-35 and cost him his entry! Obedience is key in the coming season as I have been hammering home from God. Be careful what you say to Him and how you conduct yourself before Him. He had feelings too, loves and wants to bless you but he’s not putting up with our ingratitude.

It’s all about submission and obedience to the known will of God. The Rechabites were as dependent upon God as the Israelites were in the wilderness. They were Benjamites.

You are sought out, not forsaken. You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation. You are peculiar, different, special, prized, praised, honored with a name above others bc God has declared so in His Word.You are His body, His temple, His seed, His fruit seated together with Him in far above the heavens. You are UP THERE!

Wisdom is the principal thing valued far above rubies, gold and even knowledge. Wisdom was with God in the beginning. Christ has the spirit of wisdom, knowledge, counsel, might and the fear of the Lord as well as quick understanding. We have the mind of Christ who grew in wisdom stature and favor with God and with men. Wisdom is a builder, it is greater than strength and sweet to the soul.

We are to have conduct worthy of the gospel of Christ (Philippians 1:27) As such, if mature we will be more alike than different as the disciples matured into Apostles and were first called Christians at Antioch. We are made in the image and likeness of God, to have the same mind, same walk, same rule/ governing standard, me love, considerate of the poor. Philippians 2:2,20; 1 Cor. 1:10; Romans 12:16; Galatians 2:10; 1 Timothy 3:11. God is telling His body to grow up in Christ. None of this preeminence to sit on right and left, or I follow Paul no I follow Apollos.

Render unto God the Glorrrrrry due unto His Name for the great thing He has done in extending His grace at the cost of the humiliation, death and resurrection of His Only Begotten Son.

The battles in life are not ours to fight but Jesus’. Jesus said let the wheat and tare grow together cause we might pull up the wrong thing. It is the same with vengeance. How we see or assess a situation may be as wrong as two left shoes and God who tries the heart can see the real factors and judge righteous judgment. We can avoid telling people off, cussing them out, confrontations…just turn it over to the Lord and he will work it out every time!
