David has suffered a great deal of trauma and stress in his life but he has learned how to settle down, find peace despite battles with wild beasts, giants, kings, soldiers, his own sons and hiding out in caves like Ziklag and Adullam. He had to play crazy with spit running down his beard, suffer the curses of an ungrateful citizen, shoulder 3-400 discontented, poor and depressed men. Through it all he never lost his faith, hope and trust in God.

Celebrating God’s goodness. steadfast love and faithfulness.

God is love, patient, kk d, lowly, meek, long suffering, giving, selfless but there is the wrathful, the vengeance, the harsh, the cutting the blinding when dealing with the rebellious, itching ears, hard-hearted and disrespectful. Everything cannot be coated in sugar. Imagine a meal where the meat, vegetables, starch, bread and salad were drenched in butter and sugar cubes with honey. Hmmmmmm. There must be decency and order.

We are to be bearers. Carriers , disburses of the Light calling forth repentance to a world that sits in darkness

God accepts the considerate offer of David for a place of rest, a house for Himself where He will reside with His Bride and reiterated the covenant to keep One of his on the throne forever if they keep His commandments. Next He pokes out His loving abundance upon the poor, the priests, the saints and reiterates His promise to make David’s horn, his oil, his strength, his lineage to Bud kinda like Aaron’s rod.

Periods of rest, renewal, downtime are going to be essential in the coming year bc though we be blessed hand over fist, the enemy is gearing up to battle and seduce you out of your blessing like Eve and Adam. You cannot go, run , constantly put out and not take in, sit at His feet, meditate and fellowship. Jesus and numerous others rested and went aside for times of refreshing.

Eagles are what God compared us to when He speaks of renewing our strength. Once a year eagles get a complete overhaul, a makeover, and live to be well in excess of 100 years old. God says He will renew us like them! ASK FIR IT. Don’t focus on your age, aches and pains. He also promises to satisfy us with good , acceptable Precious things but we must stay connected to Him, to Jesus, to His houses x abide there to get the restoration, renewal, vigor, regeneration of the promised blessing. John 15; Psalm 65:4.

The Lord is our inheritance, portion and cup in an abundance and wholesome way when He Himself had nothing except us, the souls He will save. He had no inheritance, Norma even a place to lay His head. The only portion He had on earth was what was given by others, even a borrowed tomb. His cup was bitter and overflowed with our sin- gall. Yet He gives is abundant life. We have so much to thank God for!

Axiom worthy. Kaleo those who have accepted the invitation of calling which I believe is all of the born again believers and not just the fivefold. We are to live, conduct, comport, deport as befitting a representative of HIZ KKNGDOM!
