  • PERFECTION IS POSSIBLE: Colossians 1:23, 27-29; Ephesians 3:9-14
We are to go on, strive to perfection, rooted and grounded, established in faith and love with the hope of Christ in us who IS the Hope of Glory. The power of His resurrection residing in us steering us on to maturity as we warn or admonish one another in wisdom which is WHO Christ is and teaching each other as iron sharpens iron. We follow the example of Christ putting the past, the old man and deeds behind us and learn to stand and operate in the power of the Resurrected Savior Who resides in us.

  • From Drama & Drought to Abundance & Overflow John 6:66 John 12:19
God can take a curse a make it a blessing, a blunder & make it a bank, a mistake and make it a million, a sickness and turn it into a testimony, a hardship and convert it to victory, a failure and make it a faith builder. Many left ChrIst but as He continued faithful, did not compromise the Word, refused to give place to satan, the multitudes followed Him to the point the religious order of the day thought to kill Him because “the whole world is gone after Him!”

  • ONLY ONE THING MATTERS: PSALM 144:15
David is praying like a roller coaster, full of joy and gratitude, then double complaints and seeking to be delivered. He even has a poor outlook on mankind. He finally switches up, goes upbeat, stays up petitioning God for positive things WHILE CONCLUDING THAT NOTHING MATTERS OR CAN BRING JOY AND BLESSEDNESS EXCEPT GOD!

  • BLESS THE BAKER: Psalm 104:15; John 6:35-48;Genesis 40:16-18; John 13
All of the scriptures that foreshadow Christ, the Bread of Life, offering Himself up as a sacrificial blessing so that we will have our daily bread and not just the crumbs that fall from the table like the poor man & the Syrophoenician woman. We get the whole loaf bc Christ was offered up a full, perfect and sufficient sacrifice, blessed and multiplied forever throughout all generations from the child’s lunch, dipped in the filth (the sop) of our sin and returned to the shewbread table and Mercy Seat giving us provision forever in every conceivable area of need and strengthening our hearts!

  • LIBERATED: Galatians 2:20
We are only free when we are dead to self and alive in Christ (Romans 8:29) who made us by and for His pleasure and Who knows best how to fulfill that live that He gave us. Second, we are part of a body, 1 Corinthians 12-14, John 17 and until that body is free, liberated, then our individual liberty is not complete. Ephesians 4:5, Philippians 3:16. Third we are not to use our liberty in such a way as to impede others 1 Peter 2:16; Ephesians 5:15. Fourth if we love which is true freedom, we will strive to see that freedom manifest in the lives of others (Isaiah 61).

  • THE FORMULA FOR THE GREATER 1 Corinthians 13:13
Greater works are only accomplished thru Christ who dwells in us the Hope of Glorrrrrry. The Fulness dwells in Him and that Fulness consists of love. In Him dwells all of the Fulness of the Godhead bodily and if we love shown by keeping His commandments. He and Father will make their abode with us! God is love! Now abide the faith, hope, love, these three but the GREATEST of these is love!

  • UNJUST ADVERSARIES & ACCUSATIONS: 2 Samuel 16:5-14
David sets a pristine example of innocence, prudence and temperance in the face of a man who unjustly hurls derogatory statements, curses, stones, unjust accusations and dust at him, relishing his struggles, his downfall, his son’s misconduct as David’s just deserts, reaping what he sowed. Though innocent, David did not react or respond in kind and refused to let others retaliate on his behalf. He left vengeance in the Lord and later in the hand of his son & successor, King Solomon.

  • DON’T LAY IDLE: Luke 19:13
God expects His people to be about the Father’s business, the Go ye, Occupy, preach, teach, baptize and not just sit idle in the marketplace. Paul, Priscilla & Aquila were tentmaker das well as Apostles. Jesus is our Savior but was also a carpenter by trade. We are to do business in the traditional sense of making money (how else can we pay tithes and give offerings to support the church/work of Christ) as well as in the spiritual sense, witnessing, saving souls, equipping the saints…! No more excuse making. Let’s get it done!
