Well its July 25th and by the end of next week there will potentially be 25 Million people with no place to live, thanks to COVID-19 and the high cost of living in America. I was born in the home my parents bought, grew up in the home my Mom bought when I was a teen; lived there until long after my Federal Jobs, until my brother sold her home due to ALZ. To shorten a long story, not everyone can afford a place to stay regardless of home much they make, especially in the midst of a financial crisis. As the premier NATION in this world, we have the capacity to do something about the housing crisis if don't let greed get in the door first. There is a solution but can we get it done?

Wow! I never knew there was a "Covid Coin Crisis"! I found out when I rolled up to my neighborhood Fast Food place and saw a small sign on the window. I thought, wow! Yep. With no one shopping much I guess change would be at a premium. It is now almost 12 months from the National pageant so if you are age 60 and over, come and join our Class of 2021!

The Senior America Pageant is in its 41st year even if it is in "Quarantine" and I want to let you all in on something great! We want all our "Sister-Queens" who have reached the AGE OF ELEGANCE to join us for the 2021 pageant next year.

Well if you're like me, you're very busy trying to keep a schedule of ZOOM calls and Virtual events lately since we're quarantined at home for the most part. I have also watched several pageants online due to a limited attendance. Be safe, care for your health and check on your neighbors.

I meant for this to be a happy journey this week but instead it turned somber last Friday. Listen to the podcast. Understand that this is the worst of times and the best of times but that we need to continue to love and support each other to get to the "light at the end of the tunnel"!

Yes! At some point in this life I have heard everything imaginable from contestants in scholarship and beauty pageants but the funniest ones came from my days of traveling along "2-Lane Blacktops" in my home State of Alabama!

What else can I call myself? I transport my adult kids to and from work now and that is my "unofficial title"! Nothing is close to where we live in terms of their new jobs and their schedules now overlap so, here I am riding down the road making this thing called LIFE work. Enjoy my perspective as I take you along on my journey on one of Montgomery's busiest highways!

Welcome to Episode 18! First thanks to the person who listened from IRELAND! Please take a moment and leave a comment or a message. I would love to interview you. On the flip side... Happy 4th of July Peeps! Happy Birthday to my nephew Robert Anthony, who turns 35 on July 5th! Cannot believe how old some people are :) . Today's topic is about Homeschooling, Summer breaks and the future of education.
From the moment I could follow along with my mother as she read our family Bible (which I still have to this day - its about 75 years old or more) I have always believed int he power of prayer and known that if you "prayed with a sincere heart and waited on the Lord", that he would answer you in due time. We need to get back to this understanding, following after God's own heart, rather than our own wants and desires.

Today was supposed to be my radio broadcast from a local station - 94.1, so I went in about 30 minutes early only to find half the place was now sick! I had gotten my banner and crown on and asked about the manager because he is usually there only to find out he is in the hospital with THE VIRUS! I quickly put everything back in the crown case and waved good-bye to my friend the anchor dj because he really did not llok well at all, and drove off. This will be done another day or as a remote =, in the future,
