In the desert God is looking to:

1) Refocus our fear

2) Strip us of self-reliance

The Table, part 2: Communion is like three things: finding a winning lottery ticket, a cathedral and a kiln.

The Table, part 1: Because Jesus provides, we get to feast. Because Jesus works, we get to rest. And because Jesus dies, we get to live.

Our lives have been disrupted. The answers cannot be found inside of us. Instead, we have to look up, and also look around. We need to reconnect with God and each other.
