Jesus' parable in Matthew 20 shows us that the Kingdom of God is an undeserved gift from a compassionate King. It is a Kingdom of grace, from first to last.

The gospel is the Good News that Jesus saves and transforms our lives. Will you taste and see that the Lord is good, and overcome the barriers that may stop you from living that to the full?

Paul starts his letter to the Thessalonians by asserting that the story we are all in is being told by God from first to last. Although this is difficult to comprehend, it is truly great news: proving to us that life has meaning, humbling us, and giving us confidence to obey God.

At our evening meeting Hannah spoke about the parable of the hidden treasure and how it reminds us that Jesus is the ultimate treasure, for which we should give up everything else. We were reminded to do so not in a way that counts the cost, but instead with great joy at the fact that we have the greatest treasure.
