God entrusted Joseph with the immense task of bringing up His Son, Jesus. The Gospels reveal Joseph to be a righteous man of faith and obedience.

Although his reign began at the tender age of eight, Josiah went on to become one of Judah's greatest kings. Danny looked at how we, like Josiah, can humble ourselves before God and have a heart that is responsive to Him.

Hezekiah was one of the great kings of Israel whose life shows us what it looks like when we respond to God's grace and calling, and walk according to God's order. Raph Mrode taught us about this, as well as how to handle overwhelming circumstances, and the risk of focusing on the wrong things.

In previous preaches in this series, we have looked at how some characters in the Old Testament have pointed towards Jesus. In this preach we hear how the temple that Solomon built highlighted that Jesus would come as the temple, and shows the process of God's presence going from being unreachable to being something that we get to carry with us every day.

David partly fulfills the covenant promises made to Abraham and Moses and therefore is a foreshadowing of who Christ will be to His people.
