Paul starts this glorious chapter with wonderful headline news: that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ! He goes on to show what God has done to make this true for us and how we can have confidence in our new status.

3 members of King's spoke on the topic of prayer. Lizzie talked about the importance of praying continuously. Doris reminded us that prayer is powerful and so we must pray for, and with, each other. Guy spoke about how we need to be persistent in prayer, but when we are to keep those prayers full of faith.

In order for us to function as the Family of God, we need to practise regular, simple, real hospitality to those inside and outside of the church.

If we want to find Christ-like maturity, we need to follow

the road called love. This is a hard road, it’s uphill all

the way.

The Lord’s Supper makes us look back with thankfulness to the cross, look forward with hope to the return of Jesus, look in at ourselves honestly and consider if we’re in good relationships with others, and look out with love at the family God has placed us in.
