What does it mean to be in God’s Kingdom and to be a Kingdom Entrepreneur?

In this episode Rylee introduces the Kingdom Entrepreneur Series, beginning with his in-depth discussion about the foundation of Kingdom Entrepreneurship. What do you need to understand about God’s Kingdom on Earth? The key to being a Kingdom Entrepreneur is to bring God’s call to ministry into all aspects of your life and your work. We are here to work. Our work is to be in service of God, always, and in all things.

We are called to be in full time ministry of the Kingdom of God, in all that we do. We can bring this beyond the walls of the Church and into our work.

 Key takeaways:

·     Understand that the Kingdom is God’s rule and reign over our lives.

·     Salvation is only beginning. Once you have committed your life to Christ, you are now called upon to become disciples of God.

·     Jesus has redeemed us to do good works, and that work has just begun as living sacrifices to our Creator.

·     ALL of our work is Kingdom work. We are in full-time ministry.

·     The secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven are only revealed to us when we embrace God’s rule and reign in our lives

Quotes:

“ …because if Jesus is King, we’ve truly accepted Him as our Lord. His rule and reign is what we’re ultimately submitted to. And as entrepreneurs… what does that mean now?”

“You were created to work. God placed Adam in the garden and had an innate understanding that that was what he was created to do. The Hebrew word used in Genesis, Avah, which comes from Avodh, literally means ‘work, worship, service.’ They’re the same thing. Work is worship. Worship is service. Work is an act of worship.”

“In part of the King’s Council, we talk about being the provision for these God-given visions to expand the Kingdom of God here on this Earth. Now… There is so much more that we are called to do as our works. But we are saved for our works, and because of this, all of our work is Kingdom work”

“When you submit to Him as a Kingdom Entrepreneur, it is like the parable of the yeast that Jesus used. It slowly works into our life, and overtakes the entire batch. And that, my friends, is what the Kingdom of God, the culture, the Kingdom culture, that needs to take place, that I know is taking place in the marketplace today.”

How does your faith fit within your entrepreneurship?

In this episode Rylee and Caleb discuss why work isn’t a curse, why people were created, and integrity in your work.

 Key takeaways:

Quotes:

“We can be incredibly successful from the world’s standpoint… and you can still feel like a failure.” - Rylee Meek

“Being a little employee worker bee, it can be kind of sad that people have squashed out their creativity or initiation. That doesn’t mean you can’t be creative in the corporate world. You can. But be that person who takes that idea to your boss…” - Caleb Spitler

“I grew up hearing a lot of ‘do as I say, not as I do.’ And, I always thought, like, that was complete b.s… we need to lead by example.” - Rylee Meek

God doesn’t want you to be lukewarm, make a decision.

Today’s episode Rylee and Christian talk about the difference between making choices and actually deciding. They share why it’s important that every choice is rooted in a decision you already made. Both discuss why deciding fatigue is a real issue not only in business but also at a personal and familiar level. Rylee also explains why pride and ego are harmful when deciding and how the quality of our decisions determine the quality of your life. Consistency and commitment to the decisions you make is what will enable you to succeed in life and in business.

 Key takeaways:

Quotes:

“Every decision that you make will help you make every choice throughout the day to either get closer or further away from your vision” - Rylee Meek

“If you make the wrong decision you can quickly pivot and turn the other way” - Christian Edwards

“Successful people do consistently what others do occasionally ” - Rylee Meek
