Why do Christians believe in the Trinity? Is the Trinity even in the Bible? In this teaching you will see why all Christians, in all times, in all places, have always believed in the Trinity. You will also learn some of the reasons why Trinity matters and is relevent in your life.

Every month that has a fifth Sunday, King's Cross Church uses that extra Sunday to intentionally form the whole family. We invite the children to remain in the main worship gathering and we teach on a spiritual discpline that will help the entire family grow in Christlikness. This Sunday we discussed the discipline of gathering. Pastor Brent provided a short devotional about gathering and then Pastor Austin share King's Cross' vision for formaiton through gathering.

Each source promises to bring peace and life but ultimatley leaves is feeling dead. True life comes from being in relationship with God and Jesus is the way to the Father. Regardless of where you come from or what your background is, we all look around and agree- the world is not the way it's supposed to be. Crime, poverty, poor mental health, and abuse are all part of the long list of pain that plagues our world. So if all this pain exists, can God possibly exist too? The cross was the most vile and horrific form of both torture and death. It was not only used to kill a perons, but to degrade and shame them. How is it then that the cross, this disgusting object of degredation has become a beacon of hope for so many? It is because of what Jesus did on the cross. Check out this teaching and consider the cross and ask you yourself, "where is my hope found?"

Have you ever been to game, looked up, and saw the people sitting in the suites and thought, "I would love to be in there right now." We all know what it's like to be an outsider and to have desire to be included. In this teaching we learn that Jesus is the door. The metaphor sounds strange, but is a message of encouragement for anyone on the outside that wants in. 

All of us sense that there is darkness in the world. We even, when we are honest, know that there is darkness inside us. However often times we are not sure how to deal with it. Do we work hard to try and be good? Do we give up and give ourselves over to it? In this text we see how Jesus is the Light of the World and how he can deal with all the darkness in our life.
