In Acts chapter 2 something strange happens. After about 3,000 people repent and are baptised in the name of Christ – the very people who said to crucify him – everything is glorious. And then suddenly in verse 43, "fear came upon every soul". Many translations describe this as a sense of awe, but the Greek word, Phobos, literally means fear or dread. So why did this happen? Pastor Josh shows that, as it says in Proverbs 9:10, 'The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.'
