On Nov. 23, 1953, an Air Force jet was scrambled from Kinross air base in Michigan's Upper Peninsula to intercept an unknown object in restricted airspace over the Great Lakes, and near the Canadian Border. After a dogged pursuit, the jet containing Airmen Felix Moncla and Robert L. Wilson disappeared. And what ensued was a brief search yielding no wreckage, and 70 years later, no answers. The American and Canadian air force explanations as to what happened conflicted with one another, and the families of the missing were told differing stories. But there have been strange circumstances surrounding the incident, including hoaxes and stonewalling. Acclaimed UFO Researchers from Michigan -- John E.L. Bill Konkolesky has been State Director of the Michigan Chapter of the Mutual UFO Network since 2004, is author of Experiencer: Raised in Two Worlds and Experiencer 2: Two Worlds Collide, and his cases have been featured on shows such as Unsolved Mysteries.
