You're on the Crisis Hotline With Doc, a series that focuses on all the Crisis events in the DC Universe. It is not a review program but rather a reader's guide and introduction to those events that highlights the importance of them to the DC Universe. In this ninth installment, Doc and Angus tackle Jeff King's Convergence.
Once, there were infinite Earths. Untold timelines. Innumerable Elseworlds. Then there came a Crisis...a Zero Hour...a Flashpoint. Worlds lived. Worlds died. Now they all must fight for their future!
The evil alien intelligence known as Brainiac has stolen 50 doomed cities from throughout time and space and brought them to a place beyond the Multiverse-a sentient planet of his own design, a world with the power of a god.
As heroes and villains from dozens of worlds battle each other for their very existence, it's up to a ragtag band of warriors from a slain Earth to put an end to this threat that bends the Multiverse to its will. Reality itself hangs in the balance...
This is it! The entire DC Universe from the dawn of time through the New 52 stars in CONVERGENCE - an unprecedented event that brings together your favorite characters from every era and series. Whether familiar or forgotten, none of them will ever be the same! Collects CONVERGENCE #0-8.

Doc and Angus return to conclude their journey into Lovecraft's The Great Old Ones, our comic book character of the month for October. They first read and reviewed Alan Moore's Neonomicon. They completed the cycle by reading and reviewing Moore's Providence. Now they review our March Graphic Novel of the Month H.P. Lovecraft's Worlds: The Lurking Fear and Other Tales Vol. 1. In Part ONE they introduced the work, harvested a Kirby Kernel, engaged in a little Creative Chatter and mined some gems about the legacy of Lovecraft in Comics Archeology. Here in Part TWO they review the graphic novel and cover some Lovecraft inspired role-playing games.

Doc and Angus return to continue their journey into Lovecraft's The Great Old Ones, our comic book character of the month for October. They first read and reviewed Alan Moore's Neonomicon. Now they complete the cycle by reading and reviewing Moore's Providence. Providence is Alan Moore's quintessential horror series! In it, he weaves and reinvents the works of H.P. Lovecraft through historical events. It is both a sequel and prequel to Neonomicon.
