Kissa Kahani

The story of this episode 'Gauri' was written against the backdrop of Indian freedom struggle by the famous writer and poetess Subhadra Kumari Chauhan who was herself the first Indian lady to become a satyagrahi. Gauri kahani hai ek seedhi sadhi young ladki ki. Kya hota hai jab wo milti hai Seetaram ji se, jo freedom fighter hain.

Kaun thi Mamta aur use Rohtas Qile se kyon bhagna pada? Usne jise sharan di wo kaun tha? kya uska naam us sthan par bane shilalekh mein likha jayega? This is a small but powerful depiction of an Indian lady from 16th century. Mamta personifies the true character of an Indian woman. She may have had a difficult life but will not give up her Dharm under any circumstances.
