Everyone, please listen to this episode, wether you are an old listener or new, it will explain a lot about the upcoming months of the podcast.
Thank you so much to everyone, for the kind words to the fanart to the songs, we truly are where we are now because of you. This is an update but also a goodbye, so if you are confused, don't worry, you can ask any questions in the email. Thank you for being the best listeners possible, we truly couldn't have done this without you. Goodbye, and we'll see you again soon.
Any questions can be sent through the email below, I'll do my best to answer all of them.

Headphone warning, we get kinda loud at some parts, and I am sorry in advance for Hawkfangs weird screams.
Even through all of Wolfsongs continuous pestering, Hawkfang has not read past the first series. Unfortunately for him, Wolfsong has learned to take advantage of this, which resulted in this episode! Hawkfang desperately struggles to name cats, and Wolfsong tries not to choke on her laughter. Also, if you do want to watch Moonkitti's Starkit series, here's the link to the first episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDElcgB8WKk I'm fairly sure it doesn't contain cursing or blood, but watch at your own risk, I'm not responsible for cat trauma (yet)

So uh.... Hi! This episode is totally regularly scheduled and absolutely not a week late! ........we try our best ok?
Today, Wolfsong marvels at the fact that Ashwhisper managed to read nearly every Wings of fire book in literally half a week. Ashwhisper has superpowers, we know. To celebrate this, we have an episode that talks about the actual point of the podcast, and the other book series Wolfsong is obsessed with. Warning, lot's of stuttering at the start, since Wolfsong forgot how to speak for about ten minutes.

Yes, I am aware. Two specials in a month is a lot, but bear with us please.
This month is pride month, so Wolfsong saw fit for us to have a special episode on pride and Lgbtq+ representation! This episode features the tortured, tired Honeystorm, stupid non-reaserch doing Wolfsong, and a special visit from Kermit at the end of the episode. Nothing here is discussed in length, we really just talk about random subjects for the entire episode, but that's the story of the entire podcast, so go figure.

One year. One whole year of talking abut silly cat books. Wow. Well technically one year and nine days but whatever.
Today we actually have a bonus episode because we recently hit the one year mark of the Kit claws and cat tails podcast! As celebration, Wolfsong and Lilymoon re-create the very first official episode we published; Reviewing Into the wild with Lilymoon. That episode as a surprising amount of plays which is sad, since the actual episode is very very bad. We also give podcasting tips at the end of the episode because, well, we thought it would be fun. Thank you so much for sticking with us for an entire year, you guys are amazing!

This episode is a bit short and nothing is really discussed in length, but it was still fun to do, so... whatever I guess.
Today Wolfsong and her nonexistent sanity talk about the Poison jungle, the (insert number here)th book of Wings of Fire. Despite finishing every other book nearly a month ago she postponed reading it just to make an episode about it. That did wonders for her addiction to dragon books.

This episode was edited in a hurry, so apologies if the audio cuts out weirdly, Wolfsong's trying her best.
Another book review, but to shake things up, this one isn't actually just Wolfsong and Ashwhisper dunking on a cat book, since this time they actually liked it! Sort of. Not really, but sort of. Other interesting topics today include Firestar's death, Lionblaze having a personality, evil Willowshine and dogs in the Dark forest.

I realized immediately after editing that I forgot to shout out Frostfang for their amazing fanart and Otterfur for the collab we did .__. Well, you're getting the shout outs now! Thanks so much Frostfang for the great fanart and go listen to the collab we did on Otterfur's podcast, Warrior cats backstory to evil.
Wolfsong and Hawkfang return to the oc making thing, but this time with countries! We come up with some strange oc's, talk about Eurovision and spend a long time discussing the 25th birthday of Pokémon. Disclaimer, we aren't trying to stereotype countries and people in it, the majority of the "country" part of the oc's is just designing the flags to look like cats. Finally! An episode edited to be under 40 mins! I mean It's still 39 minutes but it counts.
We finally come back to the world of Sushi (oh, wait, sorry, Samara) after her life has gone through many negative changes. In the midst of a five second fight, lots of sass and new names, we also establish that cars are peacocks, Looneytunes exist, Coconut gets a redemption arc and Jasper is a tsundere. Yes. This episode is wierd.

This episode was so long and hard to edit, and lots of conversation had to be cut out, so if the audio cuts off or jumps to someone else talking know that that is Wolfsong, trying her best at editing.
After weeks of waiting and decision making, it's finally time for our 10 thousand play special! We announce the art contest winners, answer the would you rather and q&a questions, and talk about completely random stuff. Most of the episode is just randomness. Thank you so much to everyone who participated, and even if you didn't win we love and appreciate the fact you even sent us art. Congrats to those who won, and thanks for sending in art and questions!
