• Analysts are reporting a surge in construction at a suspected Iranian nuclear site
• Another person has died in Lebanon due to an Israeli strike
• Israel has decided to close the British consulate in Jerusalem
• Oil is up to over $100 a barrel
• Trump gave out some $45,000 holiday bonuses
• SCOTUS has declined to reinstate Missouri's Republican-drawn congressional map for the November 2026 midterms but overnight a federal judge ordered Missouri to do the opposite and it’s now going back to the Supreme Court on appeal
• Starting September 29th, the US is banning the import from Canada of some dairy products, motorcycles and most alcoholic beverages
• The Texas State Board of Education approved a new high school social studies curriculum that emphasizes radical Islam as the motivation behind the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks

• Iran claims it has captured one of the US’s smartest submarines in the Strait of Hormuz which is a $2.5M autonomous underwater vehicle
• Lonnie Bunch, the head of Smithsonian has announced he’s going to retire saying he has very mixed emotions and heartfelt gratitude
• Trump claims he was rescued by two firemen on 9/11 but he wasn't there

• Israeli settlers killed 4 yesterday in the occupied West Bank
• Although Netanyahu is denying it, he was warned of the major Hamas attack of October 7th 10 days earlier by the UAE President and Egyptian intelligence
• Iran backed Houthis attacked Saudi Arabia igniting a fire at an oil facility and wounding 73 people
• The US military and CIA are having some conversations about potentially reducing personnel and facilities in the Middle East

• The Israeli army is blowing up several buildings in Lebanon today despite the ceasefire that hasn’t been adhered to by Israel at all. The death toll in Lebanon is now at 4,362
• The Israeli army has confirmed they bombed a hospital in Lebanon claiming it was no longer a medical facility and now a Hezbollah command center
• Two Palestinians including a child have been killed in an attack by an Israeli aircraft on a car in Gaza City and 6 others have been wounded.
• Iran is claiming to have struck a US ship in the Strait of Hormuz and the US says that’s a total lie
• Iran has lifted a ban on government agencies using foreign social media platforms so that they can respond and combat rumors directly
• Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have now arrived in Ukraine to talk to Zelensky
• The Justice Department is bringing mail-in voting to SCOTUS for the third time
• The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that the US Constitution doesn’t provide a right to clean drinking water or accurate information from public officials
